+ -1 moreWe had Brookwood do our remodel because a friend had a good experience with them in the past. Our new kitchen is attractive, and functions well, but there are flaws in the materials and workmanship. Our experiences with Brookwood personnel varied. We found the salesperson pushy and high-handed. Brent, the designer, was competent, and receptive to our input. The installer, Ruben Soriano, was polite, competent and painstaking - he noticed flaws, tried to correct them, and had many of the materials replaced . We withheld a final payment of $300 pending correction of the sagging drawer, but nothing has been done since April 27, 2006. It's unfortunate that Brookwood does not inspect the cabinet boxes it produces, or the doors it orders from the mill that manufactures them, before sending them out for installation. There was no final inspection of work performed.
Description of Work: One wall of storage cabinets was refaced, and given new doors. The rest of the kitchen cabinets were removed, new cabinets designed, built and installed. Materials were not inspected before delivery for installation - one drawer was out of square and didn't close properly (was replaced,) a door was flawed and had to be replaced, on a number of pieces the wood finish was not perfect and needed on-site correction or replacement. One vertical drawer sags - the problem has not been corrected. (last installer contact on April 27, 2006)

+ -1 moreThis company was very professional and very tidy. We had a slight delay because of some crown molding that was not installed on time. Overall, I like them. I would recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: They did all of our cabinets for kitchen renovation.
