Description of Work: I've been having a ton of problems with the garage and porch light burning out every 4-5 weeks. I called Diamond to schedule a check; but Dan was able to give me some suggestions on what to do. He was very professional and helpful. I REALLY appreciated the fact that he could have charged me for a service call to do exactly what he did over the phone, saving me the $$$. I will definitely call them when I need additional electrical work done.

Description of Work: I bought an Angie's deal for them to inspect the electrical in my condo. They came up with a few suggestions and I bought a new fuse for the fuse box that was necessary for safety. I am very pleased with this company and I will use them again.

Description of Work: He fixed 3 light switches, bought and exchanged a ceiling fixture, and changed a light switch. He went out in a big snow storm to buy the light and the switches. Was very plesant. He was here for about 2 hours, including the time it took to buy the supplies.

Description of Work: Jason was our tech and he was very professional. He went out on our roof and fixed our heat tape even though there was snow on the roof. Great company.

Description of Work: It was easy to get an appt and the serviceman came on time and was knowledgeable, professional, and told me at each step what the cost of moving forward would be. I was disappointed in the price structure, however. After an initial review of the problem (we had an outlet that wasn't working), included in the $35 showing up fee, I was told it would be $100 to take the next step. I agreed and as it turned out it was a blown fuse that didn't show up on the breaker box because of the age of the box. So all that was required to find and fix it took 5-10 minutes, but we were charged the same as if it had turned out to be a bigger problem. That was my interpretation of it, anyway. I agreed to the charge but in the end felt that if I'd been paying for time it would have been about half that much. The numbers here are close but not exact. I used a $30 Angie's List coupon and the total charge in the end was just over $100. Maybe this is how all electricians charge, but it was disappointing to me.

Description of Work: Power was lost when swampcooler motor blew up. I couldn't get the breaker switch to reset. Jason came and checked the connections and manually reset the breaker for me and then I had my power back on. He gave me credit for the coupon that was offered through Angie's List even though I didn't have it printed out (since I don't have a printer). He came on time, didn't try to tell me extra things that I needed to have done but was willing and did provide information about electrical concerns that I had about my house and gave me an estimate for repair. He was a very affable and professional service technician. He offered to come out and check on my swamp cooler's installation if I had any concerns (when it happens).
