We thought we had a significant electrical issue in our house and initially ordered an inspection. The electrician immediately realized when he arrived that we had a simple problem and fixed it for us without charging a diagnostic fee of $179. I will call Black Diamond Electric every time!!! They are honest and professional!

Plaster walls so it was messy, but he did good electrical work and tried to clean up after. Solid work.

Jason is not only an electrician but has an eye for what will look good and what I can afford. I went shopping and came back to a new updated look to my kitchen. I just love it!! He also gave me his suggestion on how to update the lighting in my 1968 living room which is just what I wanted only I didn't know until I could visualize it. That will be my next project to be done by Black Diamond Electric.

The job done was awesome! Jason was always on time and explained in depth the work to be performed. If there were any questions I was engaged. I also added a few jobs along the way (garage lights, light switches, outlets, wired smoke detectors) and there was no problem accommodating the additional items. They were fantastic. We really liked them. They were very professional, quick to respond to problems or questions that we had, and they seemed to be very knowledgeable about what they were doing.

The company's truck was inadequate to travel in even light snow, so it slid off the road near my house and the technician had to get towed up to my place to do the work. He was apologetic, but it was not his fault. I watched him try to get out of the snow bank but he couldn't get any traction. Regular passenger vehicles were having no trouble. Black Diamond reduced my payment to compensate for the inconvenience. Otherwise, everything was fine.

They pointed out a few items we should address, but they didn’t try to pressure us into hiring them or anything. They were quite good. I would recommend them to anybody.

I have an old house, and they came to answer a few questions to electrical problems I'd been having. The greater issue was dimming/flickering lights when too many appliances and devices were on. They tested the power coming into the house and determined that the power company needed to fix the overall problem, which they did promptly thanks to the electrician's detailed assessment. There was also a switch to some outdoor lights which was permanently stuck to "on". They troubleshooted the issue and determined that the previous owner had done some crazy wiring, and some of the wires had fused together. He quickly repaired the switch and it works perfectly now. They also gave some advice to wiring solutions to my kitchen remodel currently in progress. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I ended up paying a lot less than I thought it would!

Diamond Electric has been great to work with. They have always been prompt and professional. Their service has been great and their work has also been exceptional. They are not inexpensive, but we feel they were fair in their pricing compared to other electricians. We would continue to use their services in the future.

The technician arrived on time and the service was excellent. I was very pleased with the work that was done and it was well worth the $69 that I paid considering it probably would have taken me all day to do the job myself and I still wouldn't have gotten it installed correctly.

I was extremely pleased with the job that was done by Diamond Electric. Jason reviewed again with me all that I wanted done, and he then again explained what he needed to do. He recommended I install and additional conduit under the sidewalk for future landscape lighting. I expressed a concern that the laurel bushes in front of the GFI box not be disturbed any more than necessary. He suggested just pruning back severely rather than breaking or removing them. This we agreed upon so that they could grow back during the next growing season. He then pruned the bushes to gain access. While running the underground conduit a much larger than expected rock was encountered. Jason had to bend and shape the conduit for a circuitous route around the boulder. They forgot to run the line to the switch in the foyer, but when we inspected the work together Jason immediately acknowledged the omission and fished the line and completed the hook-up in 30 minutes. I recommend Diamond Electric to anyone in the area for electrical work. Jason gave me a quote for the emergency generator work requested and also provided numerous suggestions for consideration.

The technician arrived on time and was very attentive. Before beginning his inspection, he wanted to know what my concerns were. I explained that the home was sixty years old and had several electrical issues, such as an original circuit breaker panel and few grounded outlets. As he inspected the property, the technician pointed out various flaws, both inside and outside the house, and explained a number of options for how to upgrade the electrical system, including which steps to take first. His estimate included a rough idea of how long the work would take.

The connection of the power line to our house had been secured by a guide wire connecting to a hook mounted under the eaves of our porch. During a windstorm, the board to which that hook was fastened came loose, and if the other end had let go the weight of the cables could well have pulled the line out of the house entirely (and we've seen cases where that started fires as well as depriving the house of power.) Black Diamond was able to send a pair of electricians around after hours to fix it. They were prompt, professional, and did a fine job. Recommended highly.

Overall the service personnel was courteous and helpful. Since the house has a lot of electrical components, he recommended us to add additional breakers which make sense.

Would not recommend this type of work on a hot day. Black Diamond suggested installing a ventilation fan and discounted the cost provided we installed it while they were working. We did this and the work went smoothly.

Jared was a true professional and we will be calling Black Diamond for any future electrical needs. Hopefully you won't have to go through the crawl space next time!
