They were very punctional. Very curteous and polite. Very efficient , but answered any questions with enough enfo. I got an answer I could understand. They finished early, cleaned up and were ready to leave when I asked them if they could do something else. They gave me an estimate and were immediately able to do it. Again they were efficient , cleaned up and went the extra mile. I will definitely reccomend them to anyone. FYI they had cute beards and still looked professional.

I scheduled an estimate appointment for Friday afternoon and the service tech was right on time. I explained what I needed and was given a written estimate for each item. The price was fair and I set up a service appointment for the next day. Once again the tech showed up right on time an got strait to work. In all it took about 4 hours to complete the scheduled work and everything was completed to my satisfaction. I have used Black Diamond Electric for other small jobs in the past and they have always given great service at a fair price. I would, and have, recommended Black Diamond Electric to my freinds for their electrical needs.

Initially, the service tech quoted me a price for the service and said that the trip fee of $39.00 would have to be paid in addition to the service quote. I told him that the office person I spoke to indicated that the trip fee would not be charged if I had work done. The service tech called his office a couple of times and worked out the trip fee. I'm glad I was persistent or I may have paid too much. At the time of payment I gave the service tech the $30 coupon from Angie's List and it was honored with no hesitation. I felt that the job was done correctly and professionally.

I contacted Black Diamond after reading reviews on Angie's List and am thrilled with the work. I've had a laundry list of electrical to-do's since I bought my home three years ago and I wanted to get an estimate and start checking them off one by one. Black Diamond (Jeremy) came out and went through the list with me. I had figured I would do only one or two of the items, thinking the cost may be prohibitive. After Jeremy checked everything out, he gave me a price to complete everything that was more in line with what I was planning to pay for only one or two of the items. I told him to go ahead, and he told me the work could be done the same day, despite my only having called him out for one or two items. Jeremy was professional, polite and knew exactly what to do to get the job done. He was quick (about three hours for all five projects, including two trips for parts). I could not be happier to have my to-do list complete. I've got a few decorative lighting projects to do and I'll definitely be calling Black Diamond when I'm ready to complete them. Update - The following day, an unexpected issue arose, and Jeremy came out to the house on his day off (Saturday) to fix it. Kudos on the top-notch customer service!

He was great! He was thorough. He checked out the simple things at first before he got to other things. If the simple things weren't working then that's where it started. Because of that he didn't have to go very far because it was a very simple problem. I don't know about the pricing because I didn't take care of them, my husband did. The quality of service was very good.

Quality work and they were very prompt. They charged me $400/hr for a 2 hour job.

It went good. They showed up on time and got to work. They ended up doing a little more work that was originally anticipated and they were very helpful in explaining what needed to be done and working with me on the price. They also, came back the next week to complete a couple little things that needed to be done. Highly recommended!

I would strongly recommend Black Diamond Electric!!!! Their name suits them, as they are a rare enitity in todays service world. They showed up on time, very professional, and provided a very detailed quote. They were very comparative with the other bidders but I chose them over the others due to the ability to reach them when you call and the overall professionalism. They did the job on time and cleaned up thier mess.

Repairman was prompt, friendly and had everything he needed to complete the job. The old panel did not meet code and had to be switched to the other side of the wall. Originally he suggested it below the level of the old box, which would be easier to do. I wanted it at about the same height so I could hang a poster over it since it would be right in our family room instead of the utility room. He was reluctant at first, but in the end did accommodate my wishes. Cutting sheetrock and stripping wires made quite a mess, but without any prompting from me, the repairman brought in a shop vac and left the area very clean. The only criticism I have is the hole that the box fit into was cut a bit too big on one side, resulting in a small gap above the box. Other than that minor flaw, I was very pleased. I did not have him patch the drywall where the old box was, so I cannot comment on that. Since I plan to have something disguising the new box, I was satisfied with the work.

The providers arrived on time, and were very professional and knowledgeable. We had tried to repair some double light switches, and weren't very successful. They fixed our efforts and the lights worked perfectly in 3 rooms. We also had them replace a couple of utility light fixtures, and install a new plug in our laundry room, for which we paid their normal rates, which were very reasonable. It was very comforting to have such quality work done in such a short amount of time. We will definitely use their services again!

.I called Black Diamond Electric on the date of the appoinment to ask if the appointment could be moved to an earlier time since I had extra time in the early afternoon. They did and Jared called me letting me know he was on his way and if it was OK to proceed early. Of course I was delighted and waited for him, he arrived early with a friendly smile. We introduced eachother and I proceeded to tell him what my concerns and needs were. I told him I was selling the property and I wanted to make sure all was up to code. He asked every step of the way to show him what I needed and clarified to make sure he understood what I wanted. He also would tell me how much things would cost approximately. He then wrote down everything we discussed, I reviewed it and he then he started with the home inspection first. Once he was done he went to buy the supplies and the work probably took 2-3 hours to complete. I completely fell in love with Jared, he was very nice and talked to me in a way I could understand what he needed to do. I have used Black diamond Electric once before and I'd definitely would call them again for electrical needs. The whole experience was great-- from my iniitial call (friendly receptionist and quick appointment), to ease of moving the appointment to a time that was more convenient the day of, to meeting and dealing with Jared. If I could I would give Black Diamond Electric a SUPER A+++!

The Black Diamond techs were excellent! They arrived timely and provided me with clear expert advice. I added a couple of items to their list and they performed all within a day. They left my rooms clean and all seems to be working very well. I highly recommend Black Diamond Electric!

They were all amazing! They trenched and did it all by hand so as not to cause any damage to the sprinkler lines and when they did so they cut the grass so that it could be put back once they were finished. The entire crew was respectful, courteous and informative. They worked without creating a lot of mess and what mess they did create they cleaned up before they left. One of they guys even took off his shoes before entering my house!!! Jared came out to give the estimate the day after I called and came out the day after that to do the work, he did what would be most cost effective for us though it created a lot more work for them. All in all, super impressed! Would not hesitate to call them again should I need any other electrical work done.

The person who booked the appointment was courteous over the phone. They were able to send an electrician the following day. The electrician told me how much it would cost before the installation and the price did not change. Very nice and efficient. Overall a perfect experience.

Very fast, friendly, knowledgable and prompt. Had it completed in about 7 hours including the inspection and getting the power turned back on. Grateful because it was a hot day without the air conditioning.

Took care of my needs in no time and with no issues. I was totally impressed that they were so prompt. I called 8/1/2013 and they set a time for the next day. It turned out that one of their service people was in the area and he stopped by same day and took care of the job. Their electrician was very professional and pleasant.

It turned out good. They were very professional. There weren't any hidden charges or anything. They just did the job and we were very happy with what they did. I would use them again.

They showed up the day after I called and gave me an estimate. Two young men showed up the next day and got to work. They were very friendly and let me know what was going on. They didn't finish the job in one day but came back the next day at the time they said they would. They finished up and cleaned up after.

Arrived on time. 3 expected on 1st day but only one came. Needed walls to be painted after as expected with dry walls repair. Crew leader came back to vacuum and replace outlet cover when crew finished. Somewhat expensive for what was done but excellent work.

Jason was (again) professional and helpful. He came to switch out our electric panel and upgrade it to take advantage of the 200 amp service we have to the house (the previous owner had split the 200 amps into two 100 amp sub-panels, one of which wasn't being used). While he was there, he walked around the family room (we had the walls open as part of a remodel) and pointed out some electrical issues that needed to be addressed, as well as an easy way to address them. They were small enough that I could tackle them myself, but his advice was on-point and helpful. I would definitely hire Black Diamond again!

He came out and checked the new problems. He determined the problems to be with the power coming into the house. I called the city and they determined the problem to be with the supply to the house.

We called Black Diamond Electric after reading the reviews on Angie's list. Jason came out to the home we'd just purchased and walked through things with me. He was very knowledgeable, talked about issues, potential issues, and solutions. We basically walked through the house while I showed him things I was concerned about. Jason was helpful in answering questions for me and speaking candidly about what needed to be changed and what probably didn't need to be changed. I ended up calling him a couple of times to ask questions about things that I decided I'd try to tackle myself, and we have him scheduled to come out in a couple of days to tackle a big project for us. Couldn't be happier with Jason and Black Diamond!
