They did a timely, excellent job. the breaker board is of high quality, but my only question is whether or not our old wiring needed the upgrade too. of this i'm still not sure.

They were great. They were on time and got everything done. They did a really good job. We’re still running into a problem with the same circuit tripping that was tripping before so I’m gonna have to call them and see if they could fix that. They came out a couple of days after I bought the deal.

Two guys came. They were very nice. They answered all of my questions. They explained things very well.

I was reluctant and embarrassed to have someone come into my house due to the clutter, but I needed help. Travis was kind and understanding. I didn't feel judged and wished I had just gotten over myself earlier to have Travis help me. Plus, he likes dogs and my dog "approved" him, which is a good indicator for me.

I made a mistake when I bought this coupon - I thought that I was getting a couple of hours of service for $30. Anyways, I realized my mistake later. Scheduling this company was a breeze. The electrician showed up on time on the date we agreed on. He had a checklist of items he wanted to go through. While he did a decent job, I do not believe he was as detail oriented as I thought he should have been. There were a couple of items that I had problems with and I wanted the electrician to take a look at them. The estimated charge for troubleshooting was quite high. As a result, I went with a different contractor on Angie's list for the issues. This contractor made a recommendation around the circuit board and also gave me a quote. Like I said, overall it was ok.

Asked to fix two noisy bath fans. Promised a discount to senior citizens--my sister is over 80. Mistakenly took apart a third fan and left it hanging down. Came back and put it back, but my sister was never given the discount or an apology. However, the two fans were fixed.

I had my electrical panel replaced. The price was reasonable (sale price) and the work was very good. My service was increased from 100 amp to 125 amp. He even cleaned up his mess thoroughly after the job was compete. This company is very good to work with. |Just a note: I got a quote on some additional work. The quote seemed a little high priced (not on sale). I need to compare with other quotes before I decide who to hire.

Did a complete home electrical inspection, repaired 2 outlets, rewired around a buried ground-fault interrupter, and checked that everything was working properly after repairs. Also checked smoke and CO detectors. Replaced batteries in those that needed them. Climbed ladder and replaced battery in one smoke detector that was too high for me to reach.

Professional organization, skilled technician. On time and efficient. Use them again if needed, and highly recommend them to others.

Excellent. Upon arrival, I explained my electrical problem to Jeremy and Forrest in that the Microwave was intermittently tripping the breaker. Instead of scratching their heads like a Fred Flinstone, both thought like a Jimmy Neutron. Jeremy asked one question that being when the house was built. After answering them, they knew exactly what the heart of the problem was and began working. Both worked extremely fast and as a team. They didn't waste any time whatsoever. They completed the job quickly and even gave me a couple discounts. My microwave no longer trips the breaker which means we enjoy our food and popcorn a lot quicker :) I would highly recommend this company and these two individuals to anyone. They were honest, polite and even cleaned up after themselves. Plus the cost was in line with the value of the fix.

Jared did a great job. He was very professional, punctual and pleasant to work with. He also replaced two outlet covers free of charge to make up for the initial appointment that was overlooked. Apparently, someone forgot to record it. Anyway, the whole house inspection for $29 was a great deal and well worth my peace of mind. I highly recommend it to all homeowners.

Installed new outlet for garbage disposal, did a whole home safety inspection, and troubleshooted and fixed outdoor outlets that were not functioning.

the original electrician came out and did the trouble shooting of an existing heat cable system. Quoted me a fair price to replace a few sections. I gave him the go ahead and he ordered materials. showed up on time the following week and got the job done in less time than quoted. He discounted the price to reflect the time spent. System seems to work fine. I will know more when it gets cold enough to melt ice in the gutters and downspouts but I am confident that it will work great!

Our home wiring was old, showing problems and not up to code. They treated us like family and tirelessly worked until everything was perfect. Everything runs perfectly now and I sleep easier knowing all the work was done and done right.

Even though I was slightly out of their area they still responded. Every time we scheduled a meeting (as I had a 90 mile drive to meet them) they were on time. They worked well with the city and the inspector. When the electric meter mast had come loose, I had hired a different company to replace the meter. The meter was replaced but the job was not finished. After checking on Angie's List, I found Black Diamond and they remedied the work that was left undone by the previous electrician. Also, I had had a breakin where they were trying to strip the house of copper (pipe and wires). The electrical wiring was cut in several areas, but not taken because of it being aluminum. But boxes had to be placed to tie the wires together. They went thru at the end checking all switches and replacing light bulbs that had burned out. I truly appreciated their promptness in working on the problems and how they worked with me and the city. I would hire them again.

The work was done professionally. All of the mess was cleaned up. The new panel was installed well and the electrician was even helpful offering a few tips on the wiring I am doing. He even offered to let me use any of his tools if I needed them. I am quite happy with the work. The only downside is that a customer needs to be prepared for sticker shock when the price arrives. I knew going in that these guys were expensive, but I wasn't completely prepared for just how expensive this work would be.

Provider came when scheduled, diagnosed problem, fixed it and left.

It went very well. I added the above work after purchasing the big deal for a new electrical panel in one rental house. I was very pleased with Black Diamond's response time and availability. Jared was prompt with bidding, electricians were timely and completed work in a clean and professional manner. I was always "kept in the loop" and advised of any problems quickly. I do feel the conduit put in place was a bit of "overkill" in its size (looks funny on side of house) but my concerns with outdated electrical was completely resolved for a fair price. I was also happy to learn that electrical panels could stay on stairs, even tho that is no longer allowed by code. Thank heavens for grandfathering! A prior company had told me I would have to move the panels - a much more expensive proposition!

My light switch In the bathroom went out. I called Black Diamond and received a prompt appointment and estimate to have the repair person come to my house. When the electrician (Jared) came to my house he was pleasant and professional. I had immediate confidence that he knew how to fix any electrical problem. When he gave me an estimate which was different then how I understood it would be he had no problem calling the office and trying to figure out what I was told. He helped me feel comfortable and fixed the problem within the hour. My experience was great. Jared was wonderful, super nice, super smart very experienced. My only suggestion to a new customer would be to totally understand the Black Diamond arrival fee and estimate fee, they are two different charge s and when I first set up the appointment that was not explained very well.

Had several issues to correct and company was prompt is coming out to give estimate and schedule work. They went over several different price options and compared to other work I have had done they were in the same ballpark as far as price. They easily corrected my Smoke Detector issue and ran power so they would all be wired with power. They also quickly installed the upgraded fan in the bathroom to deal with excess humidity. They ran two Cat5 lines from basement to master bedroom and it involved cutting several holes and were able to hide holes within closet and garage. They cleaned up the areas they worked in and kept areas clean. I did notice after they had left that the manner they ran the wires in the basement were not ideal and one wire was wrapped around a PVC pipe so attention to detail was not ideal.

Jarred did our service. He was very prompt, arriving right at the start of the "window". He handled everything quickly and efficiently. He is very easy to work with and answered all our questions, and gave options for how to accomplish what we wanted.

I was pleased with their ability to diagnose the reasons why the outlets in the basement and the GFI outlets weren't working. I also needed the front outlets on my house to be fixed, along with an outlet on my outside deck fixed. They quickly offered their ideas on how to properly fixed these as my husband had rigged them the wrong way. They had to come back the next day to run a new electrical line. I was pleased with the work they performed and how quickly they got it done. Great guys and great work. I would have them come back if I need anymore electrical work done.

When I bought this house I noticed there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. So I called around and decided to go with Black Diamond Electric. I had the work scheduled for 10/9/2013 for the first thing in the morning. The work crew showed up promptly at 8:30 in the morning. The crew was very courteous and professional when I opened the door. They asked what I needed to make sure they had everything. I showed them the bathroom that I wanted the fan installed in. They then asked me some questions on what type of switch I wanted and then they explained how they were going to vent the bathroom to the outside. I agreed with all and they started their work. The crew worked together very efficiently and were done in a very timely manner. They kept the work area clean and their tools in a small area. They cleaned up the area like to was prior to their arrival. They had me test the exhaust fan and inspect the area to make sure everything worked properly and cleaned to my liking. I will definitely will use Black Diamond Electric again.

Jeff was very personable, professional and quickly found the electrical problems. He did not blink a moment at the idea of a crawl space and other challenges which can greet a job in the old Avenues. I liked his ability to explain so I understood and his efficiency. I did not research current electrical pricing,but I was more than thrilled to get the work done successfully and quite willing to pay what I did. Thank you very much.
