It took 3 service calls and allot of complaining on my part. The experience was completely 180 degrees opposite from the last time. I don't know what is going on with this company.

I called to have a blown GFCI circuit in the kitchen fixed. We also purchased the $49 electrical and HVAC inspection. The company set up an appointment for the next morning. Travis arrived earlier than scheduled and went right to work. He fixed the circuit, and during the inspection he recommended having the smoke detectors replaced since they were over 10 years old, which we agreed to have him do. He discovered they weren't wired properly into the electrical system so he fixed that. He inspected the furnace and A/C and determined that they did not need any work. He found a hole in the opening where the PVC conduit went into the (outdoor) breaker box. He replaced the PVC and added an outlet at no charge. He suggested replacing the fluorescent troffer in the kitchen with can lights. We wanted to improve the lighting in that room but weren't sure how. He offered what seemed to be a fair price and had the time to do it right then, so we agreed. Brett brought out the lights and installed them while Travis finished the other work. It was a good decision. The kitchen looks better than ever! We are very satisfied with the work they did.

The work started by a $179.00 inspection I purchased on Angie's list. Coby was the inspector. He was knowledgeable and professional. He thoroughly inspected the house and clearly commuted what upgrades need to be make the this house, which I had just purchased and was built in 1920. Before he left he installed a surge protector in the breaker box as part of the $179.00 service. I set an appointment to have the work done the following Friday. Three electricians completed the work. Jake and Bryan installed GFIs in locations that made sure that the outlets were safe. They installed a outlet on an outside wall that it was impossible to fish a line through using wire molding. (This was the best wall in the living room for an entertainment center.) They also installed wire molding from a GFI to a new outlet behind the refrigerator. I had never seen wire molding before, but it was a clean and professional way to get outlets in the impossible locations of the old house. The molding is unobtrusive, and actually makes the kitchen look better because there are no longer wires plugged in next to the stove. They installed smoke detectors in two bedrooms and a carbon monoxide detector in the laundry/furnace area. The installations were professional and unobtrusive. Daniel completed the outside work. He installed two motion lights, put existing wires in protective conduit, and installed two protected outlets with a GFI. The work was professional. I feel satisfied that the house in now safe. The price was affordable for the tons of improvements that were made. I am happy that I have finally found an affordable electrical service that I can trust. I recommend Black Diamond with no hesitation.

Although it took a while to get started, the project was completed in just two days. The project was completed to my satisfaction.

We could not have asked for a better electrician than Jason. Previous owners of our house finished the basement on their own and they did a tremendously shoddy job on all the electrical work. Jason was able to quickly diagnose the problems and give us the lowest quote possible to fix them. He would tell us all the options, what he would do if it were his house, and then let us decide what we wanted to do. He wasn't pushy at all. He was great to communicate with and very patient with how clueless I am with all things electric. I wish he could have done everything himself but he delegated most of the work out to other electricians in his team. They also seemed competent, but not as skilled and professional as Jason. He was very efficient, able to work and explain things to us at the same time. And he was also good to oversee the work of the other electricians to make sure they were performing top quality work. If we ever have any other electrical needs, I will definitely be calling Black Diamond Electric, and I hope Jason will still be working for them!

I am very happy with the work that Travis (Black Diamond) did for us. He was extremely helpful in deciding the recessed lighting configuration in my kitchen, which replaced an old fluorescent panel. He was efficient, fast, cleaned up the work area, and he couldn't have been nicer. I would not hesitate to hire him again or refer Black Diamond to others. I gave a 'B' for price because I got three bids and one bid was lower than Black Diamond.

when I called Black Diamond Electric, They quoted me 129.00 to replace two outlets. I told them that I had purchased a coupon from their company for the amount of 30.00. when the technician was through, he told me that the final amount was 120.00. I gave him the check for 120.00 and later when I got home, I realized that he hadn't given me full credit for the 30.00. I sent the company an email but never heard back from them but I did get an email from them offering their services once again. ir

First they came out and gave me a bid. They were right on time. The bid gave me options. Would I like to have a switch or just the remote. This could save me some money. Nice! We made an appointment for install. They were able to come out in days. Other companies were booking out weeks. Again, nice! Second appointment again they were right on time! They had the job complete in an hour and a half and that included clean up (not a single pile of dust left) and billing done. So great. I will use them again!

In short, Black Diamond Electric is one of the finest service providers I have worked with. On-time, professional, knowledgeable, flexible, reasonably priced - I could go on. If you have any electrical needs whatsoever, save yourself some time shopping around and go with Black Diamond - these guys really are the best in the business.

Jason was very professional in learning what we needed to hookup a new Steam Humidifier to our new AC/Heating, by reading the wiring diagram of the Humidifier. And explained that a 20 amp circuit should be more than adequate. His written cost estimate was exact and itemized

Travis promptly and efficiently gave estimate, got everything on the list done in one day (which was pretty amazing to me) and cost was exactly as quoted and very competitive. Travis and Brett were highly skilled electricians, worked very efficiently and provided excellent customer service. I won't use anyone else in the future!

I wanted to comment on their responsiveness, though. I sent a message on Angie's List Sunday evening and received a response within an hour it seemed, and had a scheduled appointment the next day. They told me he would be there at 1:00 - he was there at 12:55! Very punctual and very responsive!

The were meant to give me a report with the estimates after the inspection but they didn't get back to me. The price was ok, quality was good, responsiveness was very good, punctuality was excellent and professionalism was very good. I would not use their services in the future.

The provider DOES NOT provide appliance repair as per their listing. At the very least, they could refer you to someone who does. Fix your listing so that I don't have to waste my time and yours!!!

The service went well. One electrician came out and completed the inspection in about a half hour. He did a good job and I more than likely will use them for some additional services. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

It went fantastic. I'm that customer that will walk out of a doctor's office if it's 20 min past my appointment time. I appreciate punctuality. An electrician came by on Monday before we scheduled the work. He carefully explained the worst case scenario. Every price he gave was at the high end of reasonable so that I understood what each piece could potentially cost. Once I had decided on what work I needed done, he quoted me a much lower final price based on actual measurements. We set a date and time on Friday between 8 and 9 am. I arrived at 8:30 and they had already arrived and had obviously been there for some time preparing for the work. They were courteous and professional. We walked through the expected work again, discussed the expected cost, and they got to work. They took care of all permits and inspections. The city inspector knew them and validated that their work was consistently high quality and the inspection was generally simple. I could see for myself that their work was good. I come from a long line of electricians (my dad is a master licensed electrician) and know what sloppy work looks like. When it was all said and done, I was charged even less than the quoted price as there were things that could have been more expensive. They could have easily charged me more and I would have happily paid it. Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one would know if you didn't. There's no doubt that I'll be calling Black Diamond Electric back again the next time I need work done.

Forrest was excellent, working quickly and doing a great job. He carefully boxed up the old lights for us so they would be easy to dispose of. As I said above, he was very knowledgeable and happy to answer our questions, as well as being very friendly and easy to work with. We would be happy to have him come back! We appreciate the quality of Black Diamond Electric's work as well as their policy of bidding by the job and not by the hour. We feel their pricing is very fair and will continue to use them in the future.
