Was so happy to get them to come out same day I called as all others I had called had a 3 day wait. Troy came out and was very nice and acted professionally. The reason for the 1 star though is he first said my broken AC needed a new capacitor for $179 so I said ok, he put the new one in and then kept working. Didn't attach the capacitor to the compressor but let it hang, so it arc'd when he turned the power back on and then blew the fuse. He told me the fuse had blown before he got there and maybe that's why the AC wasn't working but the fan was blowing and it had power that kept clicking before he blew the fuse. After a while he then informed me I needed a new AC and furnace that was going to end up costing around 3K-4K depending on the units, etc. I told him I needed to research and would get back to them. I'm all about second opinions and had another HVAC come out (Beckler HVAC), to see if 1. I really did need a new system, and 2. get their price to compare. Garrett of Beckler HVAC took the panel off my compressor as he said it sounded like the capacitor was this issue, Troy hadn't put the old one back in, he left it empty. Garrett needed to know which capacitor was there so he could test with a new one at the correct power levels so I called Troy who informed me he threw it away (I find that shady and suspicious). Garrett was able to search online using the model number, put in a new capacitor and get my system up and running just fine for $148. At first I thought Troy may just not have known what he was doing but now I think they were just actually just trying to take me for a whole new system to get my money.

I called on a Thursday and my service was scheduled for the next day. Their tech, Joel, arrived within the given time frame and performed the work quickly and efficiently. The tech educated me regarding the frequency of filter replacement and was professional and friendly. The price was right. I was not disappointed.

Overall it went pretty well. I had an appointment scheduled from 11-1pm. I received a phone call at 1ish telling me the tech was running behind and they'd arrive between 2-4pm. Tech showed up at 4:45pm. Was very professional and did a through inspection of the house that last 1:15-1:30. Wrote up a quote for recommendations. Only complaint was being late and tripping a few outlets and not reseting them (water heater - Main issue).

First time around came out because AC Unit not cooling. Of course hottest part of summer to that point. Changed filters, checked both units and serviced for a very reasonable price. Came back the next day --no charge, to make sure everything was still running smoothly. A month or so later is was pretty obvious it was a more serious problem as the AC inside unit and furnace are about 25 years old. So the technician, Chase, came out on a Sunday, made sure what the problem was, explained it to me and came out the next day with the correct motor and installed. In both cases above and beyond! Going to use Black Diamond for all AC, Furnace and Plumbing needs in future, no question.

He did a great job. He came in and gave us advice and then went to work on the faucet. He did not encounter any surprises, so he finished the job quickly.

Joel was great. Though he was running a little late due to another service call before us (we know these things happen), he made sure to call ahead and make sure it was ok if he arrived 15 minutes late. When he arrived he quickly assessed the problems, figured out what he needed to make the repairs, and fixed our plumbing issues. Also very respectful--and a super nice guy. Total time for the work was probably 30 minutes--but he double-checked to make sure we were happy. We will definitely use again and recommend Joel 100%!

They were very professional and respectful. They used shoe covers to avoid bringing in dirt on the carpets, and they cleaned up after themselves.

The serviceman Joel showed up on time and explained what needed to happen to get my new grill hooked up to our natural gas service. He went to get parts and completed the work quickly. He showed me what he had done and was very professional. The price he originally quoted me seemed a bit high, but when he was done he reduced the price because it hadn't taken him that long. I am now getting quotes from the same company to do some electrical work in my basement. Thanks Black Diamond!

Overall, I was extremely pleased. The price was excellent, and our technician was friendly and knowledgeable. The work was done efficiently and well. My only issues were that the panel was installed upside down and some trash was left lying around in my front yard. There was some sheet-rock damage as well, but I was warned that it was coming. Overall pretty minor stuff considering the price point. I'll definitely be using them again and may consider the company for some of my other needs as well.

I needed a short-notice repair, and Black Diamond was able to send someone over within the hour. The electrician, Josh, was professional and friendly. While I wish the simple repair cost less, I understand the need to charge more for emergency service. I will contact Black Diamond in the future to do other electrical work.

Black Diamond was professional, responsive. The representative arrived on time and did thorough work. He explained some of the unique problems with my 1950s home and strategies for fixing those problems. He gave me options to update the meter and grounding for my house. I appreciate having that information even though I decided not to have that work done at this time.

The service was okay, nothing stood out. The technician was rude. He made a personal comment and I did not like him at all. He didn't bother to inspect everything. I remember calling him because he plugged something and it was not working when he left. He didn't turn the switch back on. When I called to find out what was going on, he was rude.

After having to reschedule the first appointment, they were very punctual and professional during the work.

Jason and his two helpers did a great job! The price was fair and the work was done professionally. There were a few glitches along the way but Jason addressed them immediately and things were straightened out and done fairly. He is an honest person and doesn't try to smooth talk you into things that aren't needed. I appreciated that. So many times the workers that come to your home aren't to be trusted. I was impressed even with the way that they cleaned up everything before they left. Even small pieces of attic insulation that had been tracked around the house was picked up by them before leaving. Jason gave me suggestions on the type and wattage of the bulbs that I should purchase for the exterior lighting. He always checked with me along the way to make sure of what I wanted and that things were lined up properly. They were also respectful of one another while working and their language was not offensive in my home...which is sometimes the case. Jason will be back to do my pendant lights as soon as I find the ones I like. I have also recommended him to my friends. If you want an excellent electrician, call Jason at Black Diamond Electric. He will did things the right way. I think his boss should give him a raise!

Absolutely wonderful service. Black Diamond scheduled me quickly after I bought the Angie's List coupon, and were great start to finish. Tim and Troy were professional, demonstrated high knowledge about our AC and Furnaces, timely and a joy to work with. They were the FIRST COMPANY in 15 years to clean out the outdoor units with a hose (which they brought)- something I didn't even know is recommended! They performed the services paid for, with no pressure to buy or do anything else - as well as let us know items we should consider monitoring and will need eventual repair. I will call Diamond for more plumbing and other services as needed - if every technician is as great as Tim and Troy, this company is beyond par.

We used them once over a year ago and were quite happy, so we thought of them immediately when we had some areas of our home and garage where lights and outlets stopped working. Jeremy did a terrific job diagnosing the issues and giving us an estimate for the work. Black Diamond then sent Jeremy, Bryan, and Bryce out the next business day to do the work. It took them over eight hours, but they got all the work done and located the issues. They fixed switches, tightened connections, located and fixed the issues in both our garage and home. We are very happy. We also had them install a dedicated circuit for my husband's big TV in his man cave, and they were able to fish the electrical wire from the breaker box to my husband's ceiling without having to cut into any drywall. Bravo! We are exceedingly happy with all the work, and we are enjoying having all our lights working properly again. Thank you Jeremy, Bryan, and Bryce! Personable, knowledgeable, and hard workers. Every thing went very well, it was a difficult job to diagnose but the provider was thorough and fast. Have used them in the past.
