I called for an estimate and they wanted to charge me $39 to come for an estimate. It would have been waived if I hired them. I passed on having them come. They were the only ones who wanted to charge me for the information.

They came , they inspected and they left, I didn't ask for anything more .

What a great experience! The original estimate was $300 more than the end price. Travis was able to get in and see an option that saved us a lot of money. We would have never known so that speaks to honesty! He was easy to work with and very patient. This is who I am calling from now on!! Additionally, I had just flown in from a business trip so wen I tried to pay, the bank declines the card thinking it was a fraudulent charge. he was so kind and patient while I called the bank to let them know it was not fraudulent, I was just back in town now. I knew every minute he waited for me to resolve the matter, he was losing money on another potential call. He was not only patient, bit patient and gracious while we corrected that and got him paid.

They were called to properly complete a rooter job not done correctly originally. They arrived eventually, after dispatch sent them to the wrong place. They charged more for the "second service", which should have been done gratis and wouldn't negotiate any terms.

Went as planned, arrived on time, did the work in about the 2 hours as originally thought. I was not too impressed with the professionalism of the gentlemen who did work, but maybe it is a generational thing about neat appearance and congenial manner. Also, I found several branches cut on my rose bush after he left. Would like to have been asked or at least told about the need? for that. The branches were around the outside box.

Joe did a great job. The old water heater was removed and the new one installed quickly and with attention to detail.

They were ready To start the very next day, showed up on time every morning, were pleasant to have in the house, even loved on our dogs. Very good work done by really good guys.

Jeremy was very friendly and knowledgeable, answered on all my questions.

When the first guy came he said he didn't have the time to do it and left again saying he couldn't give a bid. I called and spoke with Dan who sent out Bryce and Bryan who took care of it that afternoon. I needed to have the line run by that Saturday for an event I was hosting. They did a great job and were able to help me in my time of need. I was very appreciative of that. I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

Technician Troy did a thorough job of cleaning and checking/testing the furnace components. He is easy to talk to and responsive to all my questions. Remembered the last visit for the A/C tune up and asked how the system worked during the summer.

Joel came out, found no problem, gave me a lot of great advice, and did not charge anything! A+ ! Would totally call again!

We lost power to several rooms of our house during the night and needed a repair immediately. Our usual go-to company could not get to us that day, so we looked to Angie's List for a recommendation. Black Diamond was able to set up an appointment at 10 am that day and had the breakers working within a couple of hours. The electrician recommended replacing the breaker box, which was extremely outdated and overloaded, and we had been expecting to have that work done for some time. A Black Diamond technician completed this task that afternoon, after also quickly helping us solve a problem we were having with our TV. Both men were experienced and competent. I was impressed not only with their skill, but also with their punctuality, professionalism, tidiness and helpfulness. They applied a generous Angie's List discount on our bill. I recommend them highly.

The work on the water heater was done well. But nothing else was completed. They did call and offer to come back, however, at that point I had already taken care of the problem myself. I just wish the technicians understood what services were purchased through Angie's List. I felt as if they didn't know, prior to the arrival, so many things were missed. It would be nice if they had a check list to know why they were there and what to check.

Mike and team were quick and reasonably priced. It's great to be able to leave for work and know the job is going to be done well when you get home

The installers did quality work. They were efficient, professional, and clear and helpful in describing alternatives to us. We are very pleased with the outcome.

Bryce and Brian were very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. They made great suggestions about where the lights should go and the best use of the lights.

Caleb came exactly at 8:00 (appointment was scheduled between 8:00-10:00). He quickly understood what I wanted, and gave me a quote. The quote was less than half as much I got from a different electrician, and Caleb was actually going to do more. Caleb was very polite, let me watch him work (I enjoy this as it makes it easier to do small repairs in the future by myself), and was very quick. He gave me options on how to proceed at every step (some of the ways to do it could cause damage to the walls). He cleaned up completely after himself when the work was done. I will definitely be using Black Diamond for all my future electrical needs.

The serviceman arrived the next morning on time. He diagnosed the problem in minutes; had to go get an appropriate circuit breaker, installed it, checked the dryer for 240 volt service, cleaned up well, and the cost was just as projected. Overall perfect performance by an experienced electrician.
