Initial phone call to request electrical services to have simple rope lighting installed underneath kitchen cabinets not returned for five weeks. Once first appointment set up, the worker did not show. No phone call as to why. Worker showed up next day unannounced. No phone call to inform us. Worker in home for 8 hours and at end of day stated he could not work with the current wiring. Eight hours to figure that out?? Worker left with us having less working lights than when he first arrived. Worker left all supplies which were pulled for our job. Worker told me to call office next day to reschedule another appointment. Made that phone call next day - took one week to get that phone call returned. We were told worker would be there next day at 8am. No show again. Rescheduled with Beacon for next business day. Received phone call that day from Beacon that an emergency occurred and work could not be done that day. At that point we cancelled the job with Beacon. Two days later we had an $800 bill from Beacon in the mail. On that bill was $230 worth of supplies which were never left at our home the first day. Called Beacon with the intent to speak with "BJ" about the bill, he said he was too busy to speak with me. He called back asking when the bill would be paid. I attempted to discuss the missing supplies we had been billed for but not in our possession. I also offered to pay a portion of the bill (more than 50%) and BJ became verbally abusive towards me. I could not get him to rationalize, he just kept screaming and threatening me over the phone. I terminated the conversation. Very unprofessional and incompetent behavior from Beacon Engineering and BJ.
