Atlas Trees

Completely disatisified with the company's responsiveness and respect for the schedule of others.

See above paragraph. Job went very smoothly and was just what I had been told they would do.

There are many trees on the property and during the last big wind a large branch fell on the power line and compromised my service. The power company removed the one branch, and it was pointed out that the line was still in jeopardy from overgrown trees. Mike from Atlas came out promptly, gave me a reasonable bid, educated me about the trees on my property and listened carefully to what I had to say. Atlas coordinated with the power company, and within a week the job was complete and perfect. All cuts to the numerous trees are aesthetic, unlike those of another company I hired last year. This company has true arborists at work instead of just laborers or landscapers. I will only have them care for my trees from now on.

IT WENT VERY WELL. EXACTLY AS JOHNNY THE OWNER SAID THAT IT WOULD. (WHEN YOU'RE REALLY GOOD AT SOMETHING YOU CAN MAKE IT LOOK EASY...) THEY HAD LOTS OF MAN POWER AND A SMALL FRONT END LOADER FOR THE HEAVY LOGS. THE CRANE ARRIVED ABOUT 11:00 AM. HE PARKED THE CRANE IN THE STREET. THEY TOOK DOWN THE TREE , PUT THE BIG LOGS IN A TRUCK, RAKED , USED A BLOWER TO GET RID OF THE SAW DUST AND A CHIPPER FOR THE SMALL DEBRIS. AND AT 1:50 PM THEY LEFT AND THERE WAS NO MESS. HONESTLY WISH I COULD POST A PICTURE I TOOK SEVERAL.

The estimator was right on time and gave me a detailed bid that was right in line with the other companies I had called. I made an appointment and, again, they were right on time. The technician explained in detail what he was going to do and why. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The work was done well! I will be having them come back again.

Their estimate is $1600 for two different jobs. So far they’ve been very knowledgeable and very friendly. They’re willing to point out how they know stuff and not just spell it out and expect us to believe them. They actually show us why they think and what they think about the yard. Overall they’re just really friendly. They’re very prompt in getting back to us as well. So they’ve just been quick, friendly, knowledgeable and all that. They’re on average with everybody else in terms of price. We will use them again in the future.

I called to set up a time to get a quote and they were able to come out on the same day. Mike was very knowledable about trees and helped me understand what work needed to be done. I was happy that he didn't try to "upsell" me to do additional work on other trees on my property. His quote was reasonable, so I set up an appointment for them to come back the next day to do the work. They arrived on time and had the job done quickly and for the quoted price. I was very pleased with Atlas Tree and will definitely be using them again!

Atlas has done beautiful work! Their crews are knowledgeable and helpful, and they clean up extremely well. They are the type of people I’d invite over for dinner. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

The work was done when I was at work, so I had no interaction with the workers who showed up. The pruning and reshaping work seemed to be fine, but I would have appreciated the opportunity to ask questions while the work was being done. I had asked that any material removed from the trees be chipped and left at the back of my property for use as mulch, but this wasn't done. In a follow-up call to the company I was promised some wood chips, but I never noticed that they had arrived. Not a big deal, all in all.

We had nine trees that were in various stages of neglect. One was dead and another was mostly dead. We had a very large willow tree that was mostly dead and very close to our house. Some dead branches were dangling over our garage roof. If we had very high winds, it could have caused significant damage. The job was just too big and potentially dangerous for me to handle. Here?s the price break down: Two Norway Maples crown, clean and raise- $300. One Green Ash crown, clean, light raise- $150. Very large mostly dead willow (with numerous dead unreachable branches) $1200, stump ground $200. Very large Pine prune out deadwood- $100. Small Nectarine prune- $15. Small Apricot prune- $30. Large Dead Cherry remove to stump- $150. Stump ground- $50. Large Cherry prune- $150. If we had it all done, they would do it for: $2,200. They also gave us two discounts- 1 for Angie?s list and the other for having it done during winter when demand is less. Overall, it took them about 4 hours to do the work. They weren?t able to do the stumps when they did the other work (Monday), but they said they would come back on Friday and finish, which they did. They did an excellent job doing the work and especially cleaning up. One could hardly tell they were there.

Called early @ 7 am, following terrible wind storm found tree blocking my driveway, thus we were unable to leave our home. Had someone there quickly sawing tree in pieces so we could get out. Then the rest of the crew came and carefully removed the stump, taking in consideration my snowmelt in my driveway. They even cleaned up a bunch of leaves before leaving. The guys were quick, hard-working and nice.

They came out an provided an estimate within two days of when we called. They called and let us know what to expect ahead of time, and asked what we preferred in regards to the pattern of pruning our tree (lift canopy, trim height, etc) and educated us to help make the decisions. Cleaned up well. Overall, we were very satisfied with their service.

The representive from company comleted the job on time and for the amount we agreed to.

They were really good. They did a nice job. They cleaned up well. Their price was right on target. I did recommend them to my friend. They were great. Their price was reasonable. They told me that as a customer, if I had any problem or emergency, they would come. I liked that. I would use them in the future.

I called 3 companies for a bid. Atlas took the most time to educate me about my tree and what steps they would take to ensure the health of our tree, the types of cuts they would make, what branches would be removed, what treatment our tree would need in the spring to get rid of the beetles that have begun to boar in places. I had just finished painting my house and was concerned about the overhanging branches scratching the paint as they were dropped from the tree. The guys were slow and careful in lowering each branch away from the house. They used both a big air lift truck and ropes to climb into the tree where the air lift wouldn't reach because they won't bring the truck onto the lawn. They cleaned up great. I will have them back in November to take care of our apple trees.

When the arborist came out to check on the tree, it was done free of cost. When they did the deep root fertilization it was $75. When they came out to do the crown pruning for a massive tree, branch removal on another tree and then remove all the small trees; all that costed $325 in total. I like working with them. They are super knowledgeable. The arborist really knows his stuff. There were two guys that came to do the pruning. They were hard working, efficient and very nice. I think they are pretty straight up on their price. I will absolutely use their services again in the future.

I am very happy with the service I received from Atlas. The price was reasonable. I will highly recommend them to my friends and will use their service again in the future.

I actually didn’t meet anybody from the company because they couldn’t fit that into their schedule. So I had them visit the site while I was at work and I called them on the phone to describe to them what I wanted done. They quoted $750 for the trimming. I was also looking at the possibility of removing the tree and I got quotes for that as well but I ended up not doing that work. I just ended up doing the trimming. I was a little frustrated because I couldn’t meet anybody face to face since they couldn’t get me a schedule. Though I couldn’t meet them, they did show up at my site when they said they would. They were the highest in terms of price amongst the other quotes. I will probably use their services again in the future.

Atlas Tree Service They were on time and nice. I was impressed, but they where more expensive. But they were good. Seem to know what they are talking about and gave good advise on my tree. Might use them to prune and trim my trees. I will use them in the future.

Very professional from bid to completion.

They used a bucket truck to reach over the structures and cut back the over-hanging limbs, which were about 5-6 inches in diameter and about 10 feet long. The total job took about 2 hours. The cleanup was excellent.

Atlas was the first company to give an estimate after calling several companies. They also happened to be the most reasonably priced. They were professional and did a good job consulting us on our tree problems as well as removing the trees and grinding the stumps.

We recently bought an old home with 5 very tall out of control Catalpa Trees and 1 out of control Plum Tree. They had not been pruned for at least 10 years. I found Atlas Trees on Angie's list and they had a 5% coupon on the list. Atlas trees came and gave me an estimate at the time they arranged and explained what they felt would be the best way to handle the work. We approved the estimate and the work was scheduled in about a week. It had to be postponed once because of weather. When the workers arrived to do the work, they were respectful of our property and worked hard. All the work had to be done by climbing the trees because the trucks could not get to the area where the trees are. 4 men came and worked most of the day before the job was complete. They cleaned up the debris before they packed up. The coupon on Angie's list was honored without problem. This was an expensive job to have done because of the overgrown nature of the trees and that the workers had to climb the trees to do the work. The men seemed very knowledgeable and concerned about what would be best for the trees and our yard. This is not the least expensive quote we received but Atlas Trees seemed to be the most knowledgeable about the trees. I would use them again for pruning work.

I called to schedule the appointment and they were able to come out that week. The man who came out was on time and very personable. I had two stumps at the side of my house and he was able to tell me which one's were dead, and which one I still needed to worry about. The stump was too close to the house adn also had a fence encased inside it so we couldn't take it out, but he gave me some other options for poisening the stump so it wouldn't continue growing into our foundation. I also had him look at two large trees at teh back of our property that were badly in need of upkeep. He was able to give me a quote that day for about $750 to trim the trees and take care of the stump. I did not proceed with the trimming because we were waiting to see if the power company would trim the trees since they were hanging on some powerlines. We finally got a no from the power company so I'll be calling these guys as soon as the snow melts.

Mike came out and gave me an estimate and was back to do the job the following week. I was simply amazed at the beauty he brought out in my overgrown Corkscrew Willow. Truly a professional job.
