+ -1 moreThere were three people doing the moving for me. They were able to load everything and then deliver it the same day. I was pleased with how careful they were with everything. They had drop cloths available to wrap the furniture and art work with. I thought they did such a good job that I tipped the workers after everything was done.
Description of Work: I had them move my belongings to another location, which was about 50 miles away. They moved all of my furniture, art work, about 1,000 books, and boxes. I did all of the packing myself and they did not provide the boxes.

+ -1 moreFirst of all, they were 30 minutes late. The overall experience was horrible. Our possessions were tossed around, broken, and treated with total disregard. Things were not wrapped in blankets when they moved them. Boxes that were clearly marked fragile were handled just like all the others. I opened up boxes marked fragile and dishes and glass pieces that were packed in the appropriate packaging were broken. Many of our possessions were damaged, scratched, dented, and/or broken. I'm was very disappointed in the attitude of the people that moved our things. If they would treat other people's possessions like they were their own it would sure make a difference, but that is not the case with this company.
Description of Work: Hired them to empty a storage unit we have had while building our home. I advised them at the time I initially phoned that we had two heavy pieces, a safe and a tool box. They asked for safe dimensions and weight which I supplied. I was told they would send three people and the necessary equipment to move the pieces in addition to all of the other boxes and furniture. They arrived with two people and no equipment to move the two heavy pieces. I phoned the office to ask them what they wanted to do and I was told they would send out people the following Monday to finish the move and guaranteed they would do so. They did not. They phoned at the end of the move and gave us a discount because they would not be able to send more people the following Monday like they told us earlier. We then had to hire another company to finish our move.

+ -1 moreThere was some damage. Not as careful as I wanted. 2 kids sent to do the job. Left equipment at the other home. Wanted to add something to the bill, not quoted. It took longer then they said.
Description of Work: I had them load a truck. Load boxes and unload.
