Still haven’t received my windows that should have been here weeks ago and had no communication until this week. Can’t ever get ahold of them and when I finally did, they were unprofessional and had no information.

Todd came to my house in early October. We discussed what was needed and I ordered the windows. On December 5th, Justin and Jordan arrived on time and replaced all the windows (13 windows). It took them about 4 hours. They worked quickly but carefully. They cleaned up their mess and made sure I knew how the windows worked. They were very professional while they were here. They gave me a lifetime warranty on the windows. They are well built and designed to help lower my heating and cooling bills. On top of all that the windows look amazing! Would definitely recommendthis company to others.

The work was done well and the men who came to the house were very professional and pleasant as well. It took about 10 days longer than originally announced for the windows to be ready for installation, and the communication about this could have been better. I was the one who had to call in every time for updates. Not the cheapest product, but high quality. The labor part was done well and with care. John and Dale were excellent and cleaned everything up nicely as well.

Products arrived on time and were installed quickly and securely. The installers (Brad, Steve, and Juan) were a great group of guys and worked well together with professionalism and respect. They were careful with the lead-flagged window and placed plastic and caution tape where and when needed. They cleaned up the site and even hauled away the additional storm windows stored in the garage.
Description of Work: I had all 14 metal windows in my house replaced with vinyl ones. I also replaced the old metal slider with a new atrium door with dog-door insert. The company offered the style, color, and efficiency I wanted. My house now looks like the '40s bungalow it was intended to be. Overall, I am very satisfied!! I had two problems with the installation. - One of the windows in the basement operates properly but I am unable to remove them for cleaning. The interior ledge is too high and the windows are permanently in the track. - The insert in the atrium door with the dog-door is not the same color as the door. I ordered dark tan around the house but the insert is light tan. I was not told that dark tan was not available when I ordered the door. When I emailed Darren, my sales person, he stated that he thought it was the same color, and that was it. He made no offer to come and inspect the door nor an offer to have the insert re-manufactured. Darren was just happy I was overall satisfied. I will contact the company directly and see what can be done.

ordered on Oct 5 2016 and installed on Dec 2, I was told the order would take 4-6 weeks. I had to call them to find out the windows were in. Communication from them was non existent. I filled out a sheet with comments and rated the install "dissatisfied" after installation and never heard a word from the company. Door came with the wrong screen. Screen was delivered and installed a week later. The sliding glass door did not fit, so it was hammered in place cracking the drywall in my living room. The crack was repaired a week later. The lock on the sliding door was and still is hard to work. If the mounting screws are loose it is ok, If it is tightened it catches; I am hoping it gets better in time. I ordered the small doggie door and my miniature dachshund is having a time getting used to it. The bottom of the door is 7 1/2" high from the floor so she has to go up and over to get out. There is a lip along the bottom of the door you have to step over. Abby is slowly getting used to it, but she hates it . She has used an insert door since she was a pup. So if you have a small dog, I would not order this door. The pictures in the brochure, "Patio Pet Door" are not accurate. ( See pic of my door)

The salesman came to give me a bid the day after I asked for one. He was professional. I was sold on the product right away. They even had someone come and measure every window so that they could manufacture the windows exactly to size. One small issue was that I added two windows to the job when the employee came to measure. I felt like the original windows were a good price but the overcharged me a little for the two additional windows. They installed the windows in a single day. That was great. They cleaned up everything nicely. And the windows themselves are beautiful, reduce solar gain by an immense amount, and block more sound than I thought they would. I am very happy with the windows! However there were some small bumps in the installation process. 1) they didn't coordinate with the stucco company. They seemed to need the stucco removed and the wall prepared in a particular way for their installation. The stucco company did not prepare it how they needed it. And instead of telling me or the stucco company they just went ahead with the installation even though that created some significant issues. If the stucco company hadn't been meticulous about creating a waterproof barrier I would have had leakage occur because of their failure to communicate. 2) They also didn't install all of the windows exactly right. This was a small issue but on the outside where the window meets the wood they were sloppy on a number of windows. They had to come back out and re-do that part (it did not require removing the window, just working with the water barrier). They were very responsive to fixing that, however, 3) the stucco company had already fixed some of the problems by the time they came out to re-do the outside of the windows that weren't made watertight. They promised me that they would communicate with the stucco company so that I would not be charged additional money by either company - they assured me that part of the improper installation was the stucco company's fault (see point number 1 above). However, they didn't communicate well here either, just talking to a stucco employee and not the owner and the employee didn't even agree with them. So I was left in the middle to try to decide who was in the and who was in the wrong. I wish they had followed through like they said they would so I didn't have that headache. Finally, be careful to ensure that the warranty is what the salespeople say it will be. Part of what sold me on this product was that they warranted the window against any kind of breakage- any kind! However, when I got the actual warranty it was the exact opposite and excluded almost all kinds of breakage. They did remedy that and issued me an addendum that matched what the saleman had said but it required two weeks of calls and phone tag and even a little bit of threat before they remedied the situation. To sum up. The windows themselves are wonderful. They are exactly what was ordered and I am very, very happy with them. The installation was somewhat problematic. Just make sure they communicate with the other contractors if you have stucco. Finally, make sure the warranty is what they say it is. Read it carefully and fight for what was represented to you if it doesn't match what you were expecting.

We had Advanced replace all of the windows in our house. Most of them are fine, but the tilt-in double hung ones are totally drafty and let all kinds of bugs in -- especially dozens of box elder bugs. We never had this problem with our old aluminum frame windows. I called Advanced customer service, and the lady on the phone informed me that is "normal" for the tilt-in style of window and there was nothing that could be done. I can't believe they sell windows that have a known design flaw.

The overall windows are great and we love the windows and have been mostly satisfied. However when the installers installed the windows we were told they just "Forgot' the foam gun to seal around the windows they said they would return and to this day never did, leaving these 2 inches gaps in the side of the windows to the wall just allow air to gush through, In the end I just seal the windows myself.. Not too big deal but considering the large purchase I feel like that shouldn't of been my issue. Aside from that when they installed the window in our bathroom they cracked and broke the tile around bathroom didn't say a thing and just used a piece of white flashing to patch it up does not look great. Also on our front window has stucco we were told had they have the frame over it, we agreed to it because we thought that was the standard process in new window replacements however now when it came time to bid for a new roof we now have contractors telling us it is just a cheap way of doing a good job. So now every time we see our window in the front we think.. Well we wish we would of went with some other company now knowing we could of had a better job done. Also when we ordered our sliding glass door we were told by the salesman that there was only one sliding door to choose from and we thought we also mention we wanted a lock and and the salesman assured us it will. Well then the installers come and install the windows and the new door and they told us we didn't get the new door and that there was another locking option on the door than what we were given. Now the current lock we have on the door does not lock all that you need to do is push the door open with a bit of force and it opens. We of course contacted them about our complaints and they tried once to contact us when we missed their call and they we never heard from them again.. So to say the least We are very displeased with the service we received and will not use them again.

First off the girl giving an estimate was dressed as if she was going to a club. Very very short shirt no shorts, and butt cheeks were hanging out. Then asked how I would pay- said for a discount pay in cash. If u use a card then they charge 6% fee. Well first off it's illegal to charge any type of credit card fee if not all the big box stores would be charging us it even gas stations. Worst part is most card fees are only 1.5 % if they are a small company and using square then at most it's 2.75% so with that they are making 3.25% extra on top of the bid going straight into their pockets. And mostly they want cash so they don't have to report it on their books. Don't fall for the 6% card it is illegal to charge someone a fee. I own s business myself and was told I can't charge a processing fee never the less double the normal fee. Just thought from one business owner to the next have your sales lady get the jobs by actual sales and not by showing butt cheeks. And another stop taking advantage of people with the illegal card fees. One day it will catch up to you. So because of that I decided to go with a more honest company.

The BEST investment we made in this house was 14 years ago, when Advanced Windows came out and replaced all the windows in our home. The original frames were beautiful, and repurposed, but they were put in in 1929. Our heating bill went down by half that first winter after Advanced Windows installed the double paned windows. But the very best part of the installation is that the sound of the traffic outside was ALSO REDUCED by at least half. The sound reduction made the house very livable, and something that I had not expected. The windows are holding up very well, and still look like new. Not much oxidation to speak of. They all work great, and the style that the rep recommended is easy to keep clean. Nothing in this old house is square. The installer wrestled with the wood frame double pane windows that they installed on the east and west sides of the house, but the windows open and close with no problems. I just remember what a pain they were to install. The installer integrated the new windows with the old original sills, and they look beautiful. I still recall my experience with Advanced Windows as a very pleasant memory, they made our home so much more comfortable.

" It makes the house much more comfortable summer and winter. Our living room with a large south window is not as hot in the summer. Our bathrooms are not as cold in the winter. ||I was not too pleased with the installer. He installed the corner windows incorrectly and he claimed they were just fine. They work, just not easy to close.||We had to have stucco work done also because we have a stucco sided house. The workmen were very good and fast. The additional cost for the stucco work was $2860 which was not included in the cost of the windows."

We are very happy with our windows and the service provided. The salesman was on time and thorough. The installer was on time, pleasant, and hard working. The windows look great and work well. I have only two small concerns. First, they only take credit cards with 6% additional fee. Wow. That's steep--especially considering the large amount we are paying. Second, I didn't know there would be a film of gritty dust on everything in the rooms where the windows were installed. Although, the installer did a fine job of cleaning up his installation mess, I would have liked some warning about the dust so I could remove and cover things. I assume the dust is a normal part of the process. It must have come from the exposed openings (brick, wood, old insulation) and from the outside. Other than these two minor inconveniences, I am happy with my windows. I will use Advanced Windows again.

The installation of my windows was not acceptable. In addition, the installers damaged my home. They also falsely stated that the windows would qualify for a rebate from the utility company.. Purchase date 12/20/12 and Problem date was the date of installation--2/18/13. As they finished the installation, they asked me to sign a paper. I looked around there were multiple problems and I found more damages after they left. I called the company and they stated they would make things right. The next day I wrote a letter related to the damages and the mess they had left. The company called and agreed to make things right. The sent out the salesman the next day; he tied to minimize the damages and mess. However, they sent an installer out to fix and clean-up. They were not able to fix the multiple areas of chipped bricks on the exterior ledges or the tile on the interior ledges. They told me to get a quote for them and have them fixed and they would reimburse me. They have not reimbursed me even though I sent them the quotes to fix the tile and bricks they chipped during the installation. In addition, the salesman came out to my home without calling or permission when I had guests and would not leave even after being asked three times. He was told that it was not a good time to discuss the situation when I had guests. I asked him to have the owner contact me directly so I could work with someone respectful and polite. The owner has not responded. I will call once more to attempt to have the owner or the front desk instead of the disrespectful salesman work with me. The front desk has been polite. However, the problems have not been resolved as they stated they would be. They stated they would make sure I was satisfied and that they would reimburse me for the damages once I sent in the quotes. Advanced Windows needs to take responsibility for the damages they did instead of minimizing them like the salesman has tried to do. In addition, my condo association is not happy with the sloppy installation. The neighbors installation of windows is well framed with a small bead of caulk. I have an inch wide sloppy caulking job. They want me to have it repaired or painted over. I am getting quotes for painting over it so it will blend in with the bricks as well as have the damaged bricks fixed so they blend in. I can send you pictures of the professional jobs of my neighbors and show the sloppy job advanced windows did on to install my windows. The installation is not to industry standards or to the standards shown on advanced windows website or up to the stand shown in their showroom.. In addition, I just found out that the windows are not a low enough U factor to qualify for the utility company energy rebate. The salesman stated that they would qualify and they gave me papers to apply for the credit. The windows need to be a U factor of 0.22 or lower; they all have a higher U factor then required. Advanced Windows is listed on Rocky Mountain Power trade ally list. Those on this list know the rules of what it takes for the energy credit to apply and are suppose to be qualified to install windows that meet the requirements. They did not follow those rules. Now I do not have the windows I need to decrease my energy costs or get a rebate. My energy costs will be higher then the should have been for years to come, unless this is corrected. Payment to repair the damages to the tile and brick that they couldn't repair, of $1050. Cost to repair the sloppy and amateur looking installation so it looks more professional. I am currently getting quotes for this. Compensation for false advertising that windows would qualify for utility company energy rebate or replace with windows that have U factor of 0.22 or lower, so they qualify.

They came out and gave us a bid on the three windows. About a week later, someone came and measured the windows. About 5 weeks later, an installer came to put them in. They were very friendly and professional. The new windows look great. They also close/seal tight, have excellent thermal properties, and are easy to remove for cleaning. I would definitely recommend Advanced Window Products to anyone replacing old, leaky windows.

Advanced Window Products sent a salesperson to our home to give us a sales pitch and a quote in November 2010. He called to tell us he was running late and ended up getting to our home 2 hours after the appointment. This was near bedtime. 2 hours later, we had signed a sales contract and financing agreement. They only offered really expensive windows with anti-spot coatings we would not have chosen if we could have ordered without them. We were told that it would take about 8 weeks to have our windows built and ready to install. Another person came a few weeks later and more acurately measured the window openings for an accurate fit. More than 10 weeks after we ordered the windows, we were able to have an installation date. February is a little cold to have your house open to the wind, but at least it wasn't raining. The installer was quick and thorough, but there was a question about one of the windows we had ordered in tempered glass (at an additional cost) because it was directly next to a door and the whole frame vibrates when the door closes. The installer called the factory and they said it looked like the window had not been made of tempered glass. He installed the window anyway, but we were to have a new one made in tempered glass to replace it. When the installer was disposing of our old windows, he smashed them up and crumpled the aluminum frames. We are still finding pieces of glass more than a year later from his disposal technique! AWP never contacted us about the window that needed remaking even though they were supposed to do so. We got busy and didn't call them ourselves. We were also irritated about the glass we were still picking up around our garbage can. When we got their follow-up survey call about 3 weeks after installation, we mentioned the smashed glass left on the ground and the tempered window. The survey taker appologized, but when they tried to get us to someone who could address our concerns, it never went through. We were so irritated with their constant late service and lousy follow-up that we just quit pursuing it and are living with the standard glass window at our door. So if you want good windows with questionable timeliness and lousy follow-up when something goes wrong, go for them. I would have chosen less pricy windows through a different company if I had known how frustrating this experience would be.

We placed our order in April thinking our home would be ready for windows by the first part of May. They had our windows ready for delivery, but our timing was being pushed out to June for delivery. They kept our windows in their factory until we were ready for the windows at the job site. This company is amazing and I would recommend them for both new construction and any remodel needs. They are definately worth the extra money for the quality and service you'll get from Advanced Windows.
Description of Work: We just received our new windows designed for our new home from Advanced Windows. The windows they delivered to the jobsite were second to none. Quality was amazing, delivery was on time, and their service was excellent. Advanced Windows is an amazing company that manufactures amazing products. They build high quality products mostly for remodel, but we wanted their products in our new home so we won't have to replace them in 10 years like with most new construction windows. Thanks Advanced Windows for your great quality and excellent customer service!!!

We had Advanced Windows Products do our windows about 2 months ago. We had shopped around and got estimates with a few other companies but we agreed to use Advanced because they had much better financing options. We started out with just doing our basement windows. Our sales rep was so patient with us and worked with us to find the best financing option for our budget. Because he helped us find a good financing plan we were able to have them come back a couple weeks ago and finish the windows in the upstairs. I was happy with our decision when we first chose to use Advanced but I didn’t realize what a great company they were until after we decided to work with them. Not only did they have good deals and financing options, but their windows are amazing. Our house is an older home and I can’t tell you what a big difference new window have made to the curb appeal of our home. If you are looking for windows I would strongly suggest getting an estimate from Advanced.
Description of Work: We had our windows replaced in our entire home.

They scheduled 2 days to for removal and installation of the windows, but they only need a day to do it all!!!! They arrived around 8:30am and finished with all the windows by 3:00pm. Now I left my house with old windows and came home to new, awesome looking windows. I wife was at home during the process, they started on the upstairs rooms first, then moved down, this was so my youngest could take a nap, and he was able to do so. During the installation, one of the installers noticed a small crack in one of the windows, he informed my wife, and had an order for a replacement window in the works before they left, the replacement window replaced the cracked one 2 weeks later. All the installers were very professional, nice, and informative to my wife, and answered all of her questions that she had. One thing that they let her know was that the windows were constructed with the trim attached or built with the windows, not a separate installation. Overall, I was so very pleased that the windows were installed in one day only, and the price was really awesome too!! They found financing for the windows that with fit with our budget. Thank you Advanced for every thing!! And I highly recommend them to do all windows for everything!!!
Description of Work: 18 old windows were removed from a house that was built in 1993, and 18 new windows were installed.
