+ -1 moreMy above statement is going to explain the majority of our reasons for the poor rating of this company. Brady is actually a good and decent person whom we actually like. His behavior towards us was completely uncalled for and frankly rude. We had built a working relationship with him spanning more than 2 years that he ruined in just a few seconds.
Description of Work: Brady is notoriously late or "on his own schedule" as he would call it. The final straw was when he told us the last time that he would be at our business location at a certain time and once again he blew us completely off until I wrote him and asked where he was and then he re-scheduled that same day between a set time schedule and he completely blew us off again! This time I wrote him at 10 PM that evening and after numerous rants on his behalf I fired him or in his mind I guess he fired us. The thing that blows my mind is that up until the final disrespectful experience, we continued to put up with this behavior as he was the installer and our support system for our entire audio visual system in our store. We had by this time paid him close to or above 10 thousand dollars for services rendered. When anyone and I mean anyone does business with us as a company, we simply require acceptable levels of support and service with respectful actions towards us as store owners. Our business revolves around precious metals sales, coins, and other collectibles and antiques so you could imagine it is a stretch for us to hire anyone to be intimately involved and have that much knowledge of our operations and then leave us in that way. As if we are problem for requiring a hired company and or individual to simply keep their word or re-negotiate and then keep their word.

+ -1 moreI can not give enough stars for Ammon in the Hurricane store!!! My macbook pro bit the dust and I was panicked because I adore this computer! Ammon systematically worked through my computer, going above and beyond, and even researched and talked to other techs about my computer. He gave it back to me twice and it rapidly declined so I took it back to him both times. Finally as a last effort he tried a fairly new technic (what could it hurt, he had done every thing possible) and it is still working 3 weeks later. My husband used to be a mac tech but things have changed so much since then and he was amazed at Ammon's knowledge and perseverance. Ammon explains everything in detail and is patient with my silly questions! Thanks Ammon!!!
Description of Work: I have an older macbook pro that was completely dead. I love my computer and I do not want a new one! Ammon at the Hurricane location was amazing and incredibly talented! We honestly did not know him before and this is an honest review of his service.

+ -1 moreTurning a PC on and not being able to even get Windows to boot is pretty scary. We are not experts, but regard ourselves as fairly PC empowered. However, we couldn't fix it. We called Lifeguard Computers and they had us bring it in right away. The next day after running diagnostics, they said it was not a hardware issue, but Windows would need to be deleted and re-installed. We were very pleased with their expertise and professionalism. We also felt their charges were very reasonable! The computer works fine once again.
Description of Work: My wife's HP computer suddenly would not boot. Lifeguard Computer fixed the Windows 8 related issue in a professional and cost-effective manner.

+ -1 moreMS hacked my PC and claimed I was using counterfeit software. After they discovered their mistake attitudes seemed to change. When they discoverd the copy I installed was a complimentery issue. The provider was a fool, but the Microsoft people were idiots.
