+ -1 moreWe came home to discover our house was quite warm. Too warm. No cooling coming from our old heat pump although the fan was working. This was during a heat wave of 113 degrees for a high. Called Air Care, who has been servicing our HVAC for a few years. They came out and checked it over, but it couldn't be saved this time. We did have to wait a few days for it to be installed but they were very knowledgeable, business-like, efficient and good communication in all our dealings with them. They also were great about making sure we knew about how we were entitled to a rebate with our power company and explained to us how to get it. We are very satisfied and will continue to call them for all our HVAC needs.

+ -1 moreVery professional. Arrived on time. Answered all my questions and offered additional services/options but was definitely not pushy. Presented themselves as caring and honest. I signed up for a yearly maintenance plan for my furnace and AC unit which they thoroughly explained but did not try to sell it to me - I did not feel at all pressured. Very happy with their service.
Description of Work: Provided maintenance on my furnace, changed filters, installed new thermostat.

Description of Work: Main AC compressor quit the night before we were to leave on a two week trip. I thought the whole unit would have to be changed, as it is 19 years old, and I threw a fit (and a hammer or two). My wife found Air Care, and Jared Davis calmed me down over the phone and asked a number of questions. I already had checked the breaker, turned it off and removed the cover over the control panel. I checked the voltage with the breaker on, and found the contactor was picked up, but the compressor just hummed and did not start. I turned the breaker off again, and Jared asked me to look over the starting capacitor especially to see it the top was bulged out, which it was a bit. He said it should be flat, and said he had a replacement he could bring over before 10 pm. He showed up on time and replaced the capacitor and tested the unit, which started normally. He then buttoned everything up and washed the coils of the condenser unit before he left. Very professional, and didn't try to sell me a whole new unit. I will call them first every time. The capacitor cost $60, and the labor cost $75, even though he worked until after 10 pm.

+ -1 moreOn the day of the installation of the Heat Pump system, he said he would be here at 10:30 am and he was here at 10:30. He called us after the first day of using the system and asked how we liked it, I told him we weren't at all happy with the way it heated our home. He has told us from the begining that he would do whatever was necessary for us to be satisfied with his services and the system. He then told us that he would remove the Heat Pump system and install a new natural gas system which we were familiar with; additionally, it was a dual fuel system. He did that the following week, on time and on schedule. At each installation, he also provided us with auxiliary heat during the installations. The price for the Heat Pump system was $4053, and he didn't charge us a penny more for removing the system and installing the new dual fuel system. Needless to say, we are extremely happy with the job he did and the professionalism displayed with the way he did the job and keeping his word on satisfying us. I didn't think that there were people like that around anymore...amazing!
Description of Work: The company provided removal of a 21 year old Heating and cooling system and installation of a new Bryant furnace and air conditioning system, which happened to be a Heat Pump system, that operated on electricity; electricity happens to be extremely economical here in St George, Utah

We would recommend Jared Davis and Shawn Koopmans to any one wanting a good job at a fair pirce
