Description of Work: Came to fix the gas fireplace. Did not come at time set up and took several calls to reset the time. Reason given was heating emergences. Finally came and was not familiar with model of Lenox fireplace...Said the fireplace was a zero clearance which I later found out it was not. Repaired a broken wire. Fireplace worked for an hour or so and then the glass began to blacken and the flame dimming. So I shut it off and tried it the next morning...nothing. I called to have them come back but they never did. They did come when I called for an estimate to replace but again were late and the guy seemed unprepared. I went with a different company.

Description of Work: Over and Above company thats stands behind their work. Came in and completely cleaned the Air Conditioning system. While that helped it did not completely resolve the problem. To solve the situation they pulled their top technician and he came and spent several hours fixing things that had exsisted since the house was first built. No Charge for doing the extra work. Put in a new hot air return to include labor and material, again no charge. They just wanted make every thing was right. Best company I have hired off Angie's list.

+ -1 moreI had them move the A/C compressor about 4 feet to make room for patio construction. I called several places who said it would be at least $600 because coolant lines would have to be cut, evacuated, lengthened and re-filled. ERS did all this the same day for under $300. They didn't try to sell me anything else and I've had no problems with my A/C this summer. I only had one minor billing glitch which was resolved with a 2 minute phone call.
Description of Work: Home air conditioning unit relocated.

+ -1 moreThe blower on our furnace wasn't kicking on. I called and they sent a tech over 10 minutes later. The tech quickly determined the problem and my house was warm in no time. I was especially impressed that they came so quickly and gave me the option of replacing an expensive part or simply doing repairs. I gave them a B for price ($79), which seemed a little high for 1/2 hour of labor, but I honestly didn't do any comps so it might be right on. Overall though a great experience.

+ -1 moreWe think they were very good, they came out quickly. It was nice that they weren't pushy salespeople. I had a filter laying around, and rather than try to sell me a new one they suggested that I use the one I had already. They are very honest and trustworthy.
Description of Work: They had to clean the coils, take apart the outside unit and make sure it was clean. They also filled it with Freon and checked everything over.
