Wasatch Window Well Covers

It’s been 5 weeks and my covers haven’t been installed or even measured. Their website says installation in 2-3 weeks. Once I placed my order, they said it would be 4-5 weeks for installation. It has now been 5 weeks and they haven’t even measured, nor have I heard from them. I reached out and all they said is they are working on it, but still don’t have a date for me. Very poor service and communication, I would not recommend them.

The process was simple and easy. I didn't need to be there when they came out and measured (which was good, since we were busy moving). The installation was quick and easy. The technician showed me how the locking mechanism worked, which took all of 5 minutes, and the rest was done with no effort on my part. The covers are sturdy and look great.

Quality is great. Easy, fast service. My grandson is now safe in the back yard.

I placed my order and got a couple of auto response emails telling me the cost and that I would be contact with a template date within 24 hours. Due to the recent holiday (on a monday) I waited until Friday to call and inquire about my template date and they said that my order had been placed on hold because they didn't know the location that I wanted the ladder installed. That in and of itself is fine but I didn't receive any messages stating that they needed more information to process my order or anything like that I was just in limbo for a week. A very nice lady I talked to over the phone said that I would be put on the schedule ASAP so I thought I would get a message telling me when they were going to be coming to do the template so that I would know that the wheels are in motion. Come Tuesday morning I call and they have indeed scheduled me for the next day but haven't communicated that with me in any way so I told them that I would just rather cancel my order and their representative said "okay that's fine bye" and ended the call. I don't know if I will be refunded my $50 deposit (their website says that it can be refunded up to the day of template) or even if my order has actually be canceled as requested. I'm going to follow up with them again later today to be sure. This could just become a huge mess that I would rather have not had to deal with. In short, poor communication. I'd recommend finding someone else.

These are custom-made steel window-well covers. The quality is excellent and I'm very pleased with them. I placed an order on their website, they measured the wells three days later and delivered the covers two weeks after that. I never even saw or talked to anyone until the final delivery (just happened to be home), but they kept me apprised by email of what was happening. They also offer locks and ladders; I did not order those, in part because they didn't offer much guidance about what to buy.
