Description of Work: First off I do not leave reviews unless a business is either excellent or horrible, so trust me when I say the Vacuum Doctor is the BEST! I have been putting off replacing my central vacuum unit for many years after it was taken from my home 2 days before closing the sale. If you are not an expert on central vacuum finding the correct unit for your home can be very confusing and intimidating. Clint made it so easy to figure out what system options would be best for my application. He is honest, helpful and never pushy. The unit he suggested was not the most expensive, but was very high quality, efficient and well suited for my home application. He also hooked me up with a power head and lots of hoses and accessories. While working on my home I found him to be very diligent and eager to please me as a customer. During the install we ran into an issue with a port that was never hooked up, or capped off by the previous installation company years ago. We discovered that the open port was buried under the tile floor under the kitchen island. He offered to have one of his service guys fix the issue the following morning, but since I had been in construction for many years I decided to tackle it myself. Clint was very encouraging and full of great advice when I chose to fix it myself and provided me with everything I needed to do the job including a vacuum dustpan! If I had not been in construction for many years I would have not hesitated having his tech fix the issue. I am very happy with the work Clint did when he retrofitted my existing system with this powerful new unit. His work is very clean and the vacuum unit looks as if it was installed in the home from day one! To sum it up I would not hesitate calling the Vacuum Doctor again if I ever need any future products or assistance. The owner is exceptionally honest, knowledgeable and his prices are extremely competitive. One of the best buying experiences and service I have ever had. 100% highly recommended! Thanks again Clint!

+ 0 moreIt went perfectly. Clint was responsive, punctual and professional. Clearly, he knew what he was doing. He diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. Luckily for me, it was not a serious problem but even if it had been, I would have been completely comfortable having the Vacuum Doctor due the work, Clint is honest, hard working, capable and likable.
Description of Work: Central vacuum was not working properly. There was little suction and it was getting worse.

+ 0 moreClint is a true professional. He always picks up the phone when I call, he is easy to coordinate a time with and is punctual and friendly. He quickly diagnosed my vacuum's issues (there were several) and gave me two options - One was how to fix it with the least amount of work/$ and the other was a bit more money in parts, but would prolong the life of my vacuum cleaner significantly. He really knows his stuff! My vacuum has been working like a dream and its almost 35 years old. Most recently I called him because it was overheating and turning off after a few seconds. He asked me to describe what was going on over the phone. When I did he knew exactly what was wrong, made a simple suggestion and that was all I needed to get it working again. This over the phone support was what prompted me to write a review. Not many people would have gone to the effort of doing that. He did not get any money for it. I highly recommend The Vacuum Doctor!
Description of Work: A few years ago my ancient Electrolux vacuum cleaner stopped working. I needed a diagnosis and either a repair or advice about whether or not to buy a new vacuum.
