Provider never responded to multiple voicemails requesting service over about 2 weeks.
Description of Work: Called Robert 5 or times over the last week or so to haul away a dead refrigerator and freezer. His voicemail says he answers ALL messages but he has not responded to any of the several we've left for him. Previous reviews were sterling so I hope this is just an anomoly. For now we're very frustrated. We're moving and must get rid of these two large appliances. Two weeks is more than enough time for him to at least call and tell us he isn't interested! I would much have preferred to be leaving a glowing report of his excellent service such as those others have posted.

This is an extremely helpful service run by a great guy! I called Robert Poppleton on a Monday holiday to let him know I had a fridge to haul away. Right from the get-go he was kind, courteous, straightforward, honest, professional --- one of the nicest guys ever. He said he could arrange to pick up the fridge that same evening (on a holiday!), giving me a one-hour window when he'd arrive (allowing for traffic). He came within the first ten minutes of the expected arrival window. He brought all the necessary equipment and single-handedly hauled the fridge out of the house like it was nothing (he said he'd had years of practice). He took a lot of care not to damage anything during the removal. What seemed like an overwhelming task to us was taken care of without any hassle --- and for free --- within about 15 minutes. Robert started doing this business as a temporary job after a layoff during the recession, then kept it going when he found a new job --- and has now been doing appliance removal for several years. He either refurbishes the fridges/appliances or recycles the parts, but then sends whatever waste there is to the metal yard to be melted down and used again. His card calls him "Head Planet Cleaner Extraordinaire" --- his environmentally-friendly attitude is much appreciated. And where other people charge over $100 to take care of a fridge, his service really is FREE for all of Utah and Salt Lake counties. (Other areas contingent on load size and schedule availability). Thanks, Robert! We're so grateful. Highest recommendation.
Description of Work: Hauled away older, full-sized fridge that wasn't working as well as it could.
