We hired Curt Graf to remodel our kitchen, which included tearing down a weight bearing wall in our galley style kitchen. We wanted to open up the kitchen into the living room to enhance our ability to communicate with guests when entertaining. He also remodeled our mudroom and added a pantry. Curt was excellent at communicating with us each step of the way. He always asked our opinions before proceeding with every phase of the project. Once tear down started the project moved along very quickly. We often had 2-3 subcontractors in the house at a time. During the month that it took to complete the project we had 3 Sundays and 2 Saturdays when someone wasn"t working in the house. Curt told us that it would take 4 weeks at best and 6 weeks at worst to finish. It actually took 1 month. The was a major remodel and we were living in the house during the work. He was insistent that all contractors cleaned up after themselves before leaving each day. If he wasn't happy with any of the work he would have the subcontractors return to redo it. He hired contractors that he had worked with in the past and trusted. He didn't cut corners to save money. I was so impressed with his organizational skills, his ability to communicate with his subcontractors, and his honesty. The whole project turned out beautifully and I could not have had a better experience. Curt pays attention to details and we often found him fixing things in the house that weren't related to the remodel. His work is meticulous. My only complaint was that the electrician charges were over budget, but Curt found a $1000 error in the electrician's bill and corrected it. I would hire Curt for any other remodeling project that comes along. I now have the kitchen of my dreams.
