After a couple of treatments and respray, lawn weeds are back in full force, and an army of ants have decided to come into the home several times. We started with Stewart’s after getting out of our contract with a prior, more expensive company. The employees spray so quickly that it’s barely a sprinkle on most of the lawn. We consistently have bugs in and outside; which wasn’t nearly as bad with the prior company. In hindsight, I should have just stuck with the that company because, well, their services worked.

Stewarts showed up to my home without scheduling on several occasions. They would leave a note on my door "Sorry We Missed You". I asked repeatedly to contact me prior to coming to service my lawn so I could have someone there to unlock the gate and watch my dog. Stewarts also tried to charge me for services that they did not provide. My lawn looked terrible. I would not recommend.

They're acceptable. I mean, I'm not there when they come, but my son is and they just show up, spray and leave. I'm happy with them. We've used them for two or three years now. To me they're acceptable. I pay a fee, and they come out and do it. The lawn looks halfway decent, so I'm good with it. I think the price is fair. I pay annually $260 for five visits I think or something like that. I think they do okay. They call when they call and say they're coming the next day, they come the next day.

I do have one area that just can't stop growing weeds. But I keep forgetting to point it out.

Found some other company who was less expensive and more knowledgeable

Every time they would come, my grass would get worse. More dandelions, more dead spots, etc. Ive used other providers in the past and never had this issue. I figured whatever, I was out the money I pre-paid and would make it through the 6 treatments and call it good and be done with them. 2016 comes and I get offers to pre-pay now for 6 more and get a free treatment. 6 for the price of 5. No thanks. Well, I guess they decided they knew better and they showed up and treated my lawn anyways. I contact them and ask them if that was part of my 6 treatments? If it wasn't, then they just treated my lawn for free. Well, low and behold, it clearly wasn't part of the 6 pre-paid treatments because now they are send me bills for that unwanted service. Skip this company. They seem to think if you do business with them once, they can continue to provide you unwanted service and you'll be stuck with a bill. They're as shady as they come.

I made this appointment on Friday before the service due date. I took the afternoon off from work as they were to be here at 15:30 to 1700 PM. I waited and waited and no one came. Finally, I was able to contact a young lady at 1700 just as they were closing. She immediately looked up the appointment and verified that indeed it was on their schedule. Next she apologized and said that the computer failed and so the appointment was not sent to the work crew. Blithely she said she could reschedule with me. I chose not to do this, for if one appointment was not kept, how was I to know that another one would actually be kept ? I was not willing to be kept waiting nor be notified of their not keeping the appointment again. I shall never consider using this incompetent service again.

It went excellent. They showed up on time, and they diagnosed what was wrong very quickly.

I've used them every 6 weeks for the last year and a half. I haven't decided if I'm gong to continue to use them. On more than one occasion, we've had to call them back because they left fertilizer all over the sidewalks and patios. They also didn't spray for the weeds. They have very responsive whenever we've had to call them back but I don't want to constantly call them back to do their job. I can't say that the lawn has improved dramatically since they have been coming.

They were fine. The price was okay.

Very sloppy on spraying edges. Simple, easy-to-kill weeds never touched after 4 sprays.

I actually signed up with them. I switched to them from another service provider. I actually referred my father-in-law and my in-laws parents over to them. They are very reliable, courteous, and punctual. If something comes up where they are not able to come out, they call you and let you know. If there are issues that you have, they will come out at no additional charge. If they had to call in a specialist, they also do that at no additional charge as well. I have referred two additional households to them because I have been pleased with them.

They were great. I liked their methods. The methods they used are non-toxic. They are very assuring.

The service was fine. We were re-seeding parts of our lawn, so they suggested we wait a week or so until they emptied their tanks of the pre-emergent they were using at the time. Then later after the week or so had elasped, they called again a week ahead of our appointment to set up a time that they could come, and then again the day before arrival to confirm. The person arrived as scheduled. The lawn looks great!

The experience with them has been good. We have greener grass and no weed.

I specifically asked if they could kill crab grass. They said they could. I signed up for their six treatment plan. I assumed it would be 6 treatments spread throughout the summer with a final winterizer in the fall. Instead they came out 3 times in one month, the other 3 were spread out over a few months. The spray killed the dandelions, but did nothing for the crabgrass. Still have it. Additionally, they will send an auto bill the following spring, and if you don't call and cancel the plan, they will send someone out to spray you yard and you have a $50 bill to pay. I canceled.

I recently sprayed 4 dandelions by the drive.

The tech was on time and efficient. Sprayed the lawn for health and weeds. Also requested spider treatment for the house and the tech was on time and efficient and explained what was being laid down inside and outside the house.

$6Stewart's was very professional. Answered all of my questions and gave me great tips on getting the grass to look good again. I thought their pricing was very fair. I didn't end up using them because at the time we were doing a big landscape project in the backyard and I ended up going with the landscaping company for all of my lawn needs since they are an all purpose company. It was just easier to keep everything as one. If I have any problems, I would definitely switch to Stewart's. They seemed to really know what my lawn needed. Hoping this landscaping company is as good. If not, I'll be making a call.

We have used them several years for pest control. We didn’t use the lawn service. I think it was July of 2013 is our last appointment. They were pretty high price. They did a good job. Professionalism – that’s where they have a problem.

So far things are much better than my prior provider

Stewart's crew showed up on time when scheduled, plus I was always notified via email of an impending appointment. Our lawn has never looked better! This will be the second year I have used their services.

We had problems with other companies refusing to spray our bug infested fruit trees but these did great.

We used Stewart's for 3 years and our lawn never looked better. We hired them initially because we had hundreds of dandelions in our backyard. After first treatment (within a few hours, even), the dandelions died, and within a month our grass was healthy and so amazingly green. The only reason we stopped using them is because we moved out of state. They were always professional and have great customer service.
