Mountain Aire Heating and Air Conditioning

Description of Work: Inspected heating and air conditioning and changed the filter on the furnace.

Description of Work: Our air conditioning was working sporadically, and we had problems adjusting the thermostats. We replaced the batteries, and the problem remained. A technician from Mountain Aire checked the thermostats and the AC units outside, and he determined that a new thermostat was needed for the AC unit upstairs. He did not explore any other possibilities for our air conditioning problem. We were outraged to discover after the technician left that there were greasy stains on our carpet where he had put his tool bag down in front of each ot the thermostats. He did not wear protective slippers over his boots as he tramped through our house and he left the mess he created by drilling holes for a new thermostat for us to clean up. His personal appearance was unprofessional. The air conditioning was working when he left, but continued to be off and on, as before he replaced the thermostat. We called another company and saw a very different level of professionalism--and got the AC working right, for an additional $418. We are fairly trusting people, who believe that we will get an honest assessment and accurate repairs when we call a business. We would never have Mounatin Aire technicians again because of this experience.
