I had already purchased the facets and the above to remove and replace toilets...all to keep toilet from running and making the toilet running sound that is so unpleasant. Other plumbers, once again, noted that one did not replace a whole toilet to make the toilet stop running.

They claimed that I needed a lot of parts replaced within the unit and they provided me with a quote of over $3,000.00. I felt that this was extremely expensive and looked elsewhere. I called Angie's List and was referred to a different provider who found that I actually only needed the thermostat replaced and they charged me $174 for the repair. I fail to see how one company can only find one small issue, while another claims to have found multiple issues that happen to be very expensive. I felt that they were trying to take advantage of me as I am an elderly woman who lives alone. Their technician was here for over an hour writing out every single thing I needed in great detail. I asked him why he was spending so much time. He said that was just the way they did things. One person handled the diagnosis and the follow day a technician would come to discuss repairs and payment options. I find this to be a very odd business practice.

I have used Any Hour Electric and Plumbing several times over the past 5 years for small repairs. In this instance I called to have a toilet repaired and a new outlet put in on the opposite side of a wall of a current outlet. When the electrician and plumber came out and walked through the house, the list got very long of jobs they said needed to be taken care of. Specifically the electrician Patrick, said there were major safety hazards with our breakers not being replaced. Against my better judgment, I agreed to have the work done immediately instead of seeking other estimates and ended up way over paying. The plumbing cost was $1840 for 3 hours of work, and the electrical cost was $5936 for 5 hours of work- and this was with having the dispatch fee waived and a 5% discount for joining their Comfort Assurance Plan. After at least 10 calls to Troy (customer service rep) about the specifics of the charges, the company ended up sending me a $600 check as an additional discount. In discussions with Troy and Patrick following the service, I learned that this company prides itself in charging a "set" cost for each part of a job. They recognize this cost is higher than some other companies, but feel that is justified due to the same day service and carrying parts on the truck, etc. I understood that and had never had issue with their previous services (ie. paying $300 for a small job just to compensate for their time in coming to my house). However my complaint was that due to me having several jobs done at once, I should have some sort of discount following the first job. Troy said the cost for our materials (especially breakers for our type of panel) were very expensive, but would never break down the labor vs. material charges of our bill. Again he said they charge by job, and don't track material expenses. Whatever the case, we have since talked to several electricians who are shocked and disgusted at what we paid. So my suggestion is to use this company for a small emergency job you need taken care of same day, but be very wary of using them for any major electrical or plumbing work without really comparing prices. I will not use this company again, even though we have some "free" services such as furnace start-up with our Comfort Assurance Plan. I don't feel like I can trust their prices or their information about the urgency of jobs. Here is a specific break-down of our charge: Electrical: Low Voltage ring-$99, Fish wire for low voltage ring- $99, Inside outlet- $197, diagnose outside outlet- $197, Move outside outlet- $387, splice- $197, diagnose timer- $197, Change out outside outlet- $99 and put on bubble cover- $49, Remove outside outlet- $225, Replace breakers on 2 panels- $1599 each, Replace breakers on a 3rd smaller panel- $980. Plumbing: Toilet repair- replace fill valve, flapper and supply line. Replace emergency shut-off for toilet. Replace main water shut off with a ball valve and install new regulator. Attach a line to an outside hose bibb and attach a new hose bibb. COST $1509. Modify piping that hadn't been welded correctly in pool house $387.

The service went very well. We got several bids from other companies that said they could do it in a week. This company said they could do it in a day. Two people came out and it took them just under 24 hours. The service was outstanding. I would tell a friend or family member they are conscientious, on-time, and expect very dependable work.

Great employees, very knowledgeable and considerate of our home. They educated us well on our new system. Even though it was a huge expense, we feel the quality of the product we got was great and so far it works nice!

With Any Hour, if you have electric work to be done, you always see the same electrician and he stays with you throughout the whole job and if you have any feedback, it's easy to trace who did the job and have him own up to his services, whether good or bad. If they can finish it in that day, they'll stay there from morning to night and if it can't be completed on the same day, they'll come back the next morning. I wanted extra downspouts and he told me I'd probably find services of another provider cheaper than what he would charge. He was honest. I went with him anyway. I was impressed with him. He was there when he said he was going to be there. He was very professional. It was expensive because he did extra work but the original bid for the original work stayed the same. He explained everything he was doing and asked me how I wanted the work done. He was convenient.

What stood out about them is the prompt response. I would use them for an emergency, but not regular plumbing.

They did pretty good work, but left some items uncompleted like installing a door over the water shut-off valve. The water treatment system they installed is not very good. We still have hard water deposits that are not easily removed.

Wanted a tune up as my furnace was acting a little strange. Long story short, they wanted to charge me about $880 to replace a few sensors ( flame sensor & high limit switch). I did some research and found that I could buy the parts myself for under $50 total. What a complete rip off! They also recommended a few other procedures to bring the older setup up to code for a total of about $1800 and then had the audacity to recommend I might as well buy a new furnace for $5000+. I bought the sensors for about $45 with shipping, and replaced them myself in under an hour. I will never use this place again!

These guys were expensive. They came out for an installation of a sink and faucet. Actually, I like them a lot, but it could have been done cheaper.

We had half the Any Hour staff help us re-do a 70's era home that had been neglected by its previous owner. Maybe someone else would have been less expensive but these folks came out with a rate card for services that I felt was reasonable for each service. The rate didn't change even when they encountered a major problem... one item, one price. Plumbing, electrical, heating - they worked until the job was finished. When one of our expensive but replaceable items got broken, the cost of it came directly off their invoice... no question, no fault finding. They were personable, prompt, and when the dishwasher developed a leak, they were back the day we called and fixed it - no charge. We originally just had them out for plumbing, but when we saw how good they were, the list of things they did for us grew to include electrical and HVAC. We also own a customer service business and Any Hour people are very competent, and great folks to do business with.

They did an outstanding job and I would highly recommend them to everyone else. I will definitely use them in the future.

We were told by Any Hour that our furnace needed to be replaced due to the fact that it was leaking CO2, the coils were cracked, etc. They even turned the furnace off. He said that he happened to have another guy in the area (assume a sales manager) who could come right over and talk to us. Then Nate concurred that we needed a new furnace and actually turned our furnace off for safety reasons. Nate proceeded to talk to convence my husband that a new furnace was the answer and even pulled out a credit application, etc. We had Gunther's Heating and Air come the next morning and they serviced the furnace and said there was no problem, no CO2 leaking and said there was no need for a new furnace. I even bought CO2 monitors and there was no showing of CO2 in the home. I believe Any Hour' $49 specials are a scam and they just want to pretend to find problems with your home heating, etc. in order to make more sales. Apparently this is happening alot with many companies. I would never recommend Any Hour to anyone. Go to Gunther's - they are honest.

They were a wonderful company. I would not call anyone else. I was very pleased with his service. They were very professional and he explained what he was doing and why he was doing the work. He was fantastic to work with and he was friendly and had a good sense of humor. He had all the supplies needed to do the work.

Wonderful experience. By far the most professional electrical company we have dealt with. They treat your home like it's theirs (place a mat outside the door to wipe their feet on, cover their shoes...). The technician who came was very knowledgeable and explained exactly what he was doing and why. We have multiple electrical circuits in our house, so we analyzed them and chose to install the surge protector on the circuit that contained the most costly appliances and electronics. I was highly pleased with the entire experience.

Chasen analyzed situation before starting. Did the job effectively. He made sure that all other drains were working & flowing properly before he left. He was a pleasure to deal with.

They were personable and on the spot. They knew what they were doing. They were reasonably priced.

The dispatch service was well organized. I was called shortly prior to their arrival and knew what was happening the entire time. The work was performed flawlessly, quickly and accurately.

No one called me so no service was provided. Again, very disappointing, especially for a company who calls themselves "Any Hour".

They charged me a lot. They were available on a holiday. They were fast, courteous and cleaned up after themselves. They did a great job.

My home warranty company chose this company and luckily they paid them. The very young technician showed up. We showed him the outlet that didn't work. He confirmed it didn't work and quickly said he would need to do a full diagnosis and that would cost an additional $250. I told him to get approval from the home warranty company and he did. 15 minutes later he found that a connection was loose in the adjoining outlet. He fixed it and everything worked. After only spending 1/2 in my house, supplying no materials, he walked away, leaving a receipt for $100 service call, $250 diagnosis and $100 repair for a grand total of $450. That's $900/hr! I was very upset at this obvious attempt to take advantage of the warranty company and called and spoke with the manager. He completely supported the charges and gave the all the excuses of the need to cover insurance, overhead etc. There is no way I would ever trust or call this company for any repair! It is not difficult to find a good journeyman electrician (who frankly is much more qualified than the apprentices that these guys send out) that charges $35-$45/hr. Even a master electrician is only $70-$100/hr.

We have been using them since we have moved in so it has been several years now. They do a good job.

I got a quote for $700 to replace my subpanel. While the tech was there he also ran about 20 feet of romex for a new oven circuit and a new outdoor curuit. The bill for the two new circuits was over $1000. They then tried to charge $1500 for the panel and would only refund $300 of that. I was charged $2000 for $180 worth of materials and 7 hours of the electrician's time ($270 an hour!). This price is absurd- electricians shouldn't make more than doctors and usualy get paid between $50-$60 an hour. I called other companies and was quoted less than half that price for the same work but Anyhour has already billed my card and will not call me back. Do not use them, they are ridiculously overpriced.
