Superior water&Air

Superior insisted on coming out to "assess" the replacement. They were punctual and professional but deceitful. He told me to bring the install to code and safety I needed to replace the 3 inch vent pipe to 4 inch and this is not necessary. He told me I needed to replace all the copper piping with black pipe, and this is not necessary. He told me I had to replace the gas flex line and install a special debris catch, again this was not necessary! It already had the drip leg (by code) and flex line. Last they were charging $1539.00 (that's over $1000.00 in labor for a standard tank replacement.) I called another Angie's list plumber and got an honest, professional install for substantially less.

They were good. The work itself was good, but they dropped the water heater onto my wood floor and made a dent on it. They weren't very attentive about the damage to my floor.
