Description of Work: Our furnace failed on Christmas Day after 17 years of great service. The weather outside was in the 20's and it was cold in the house, even with space heaters. We called Mountain Air the next morning and told them our problem. They were able to work us in and we had a brand new furnace delivered and installed by 3:00 pm the same day. Their crew was professional and courteous. You cannot ask for better service than what we received. I highly recommend these folks.

 + -1 moreThey were very helpful in explaining the details and options available including the benefits of repairing, replacing one piece, replacing both, or installing all with the new vents. The price was a little better than most. I was disappointed they wouldn't accept my American Express card without charging an additional surcharge for processing, especially considering the amount we were spending. They were thorough and attentive to the job and completing it timely, which was helpful considering we were going through a hot spell averaging 95+ most days.

 + -1 moreWoke up to find the carpet wet next to the utility room. Angies list recommended several Heating and A/C companies, decided to try Mountain Air. Jeff came out a couple of hours later found the drain clogged. He cleaned out the evaporator tray and replaced the drain.Worked great. Jeff was very kind and courteous. Very professional work done, On my list of #1 to call next time I need a service call.

Description of Work: My 92 year old mother's air conditioning quit working on July 4, 2012 and Mountain Air sent a repairman out that day and the following day with parts to unfreeze the unit. That was wonderful to receive service on a holiday. A week later the air conditioning failed again, and Daniel, the repairman, fixed it, but recommended that we get a leak assesment or perhaps a new unit. So i went to Angie's List and made appointments for 3 estimates. Mountain Air gave us 2 estimates: one for repair and one for replacement All 3 companies recommended replacement of her 19 year old furnace and air conditioner. We chose Mountain Air, because of their very competive pricing and outstanding value. Matt sent email estimates giving us 3 options with descending prices. We chose the middle priced option. The old air conditioner continued to work. Work commenced the next Monday with a team of 3 men headed by Tai and Keith, who saw in the afternoon that another team of 2 men would be needed in order to complete the air conditioning that day. They had the new system working by 6:30 PM, which was a relief because it was 93 degrees outside. They also worked quietly and respectfully because my mother was very ill with end stage Parkinson's. The whole crew wore shoe covers, spoke softly, and were considerate and polite. They had to come back the next day, July 24, Pioneer Holiday in Utah, in order to finish the furnace. I was very grateful to Wynn, Cody, Tai, and Dirk for working on a holiday to complete the job with such a quite and professional attitude. We are excited to have a wonderful new system, and were grateful for the completed paperwork which they gave us, enabling me to already mail in 2 rebates to the gas company for our 95% efficient furnace and the power company.  + -1 moreThey have an annual maintaining contract and they come out twice a year in the beginning of spring and the beginning of winter. They clean things up and they seem to do a good job. Compared to the other companies I have used their prices are good. I think I spent $80 on that service.
Description of Work: I use Mountain Air Inc. and they maintain my air-conditioner and furnace. The last time I used them was a couple of weeks ago.
