Description of Work: After the wind storm in December 2011, we had Milaco Design give us an estimate to replace shingles on our roof. They came out and gave a bid, which we accepted. A month went by and I called to see if they had done the work (we can't get up on our roof to check). I was told no but that they would get right on it. Another month went by. I called again. Again I was told they would be out. I still have not heard from them and its been three months. The only reason I kept calling them is that they have our shingle color from a piece that was on the ground. If you say you are going to do something, you should.

+ -1 moreBesides not listening to us on our color choices and using our equipment, the thing that bothered us the most about this company was their lack of communication, reponsiveness and professionalism. When we made appointments for phone calls or to be home when they said they would be coming to discuss or perform the work - they routinely did not show up and didn't call to let us know the situation. We took days off from work to be present to meet with them, called them repeatedly to find out where they were when they didn't show up. We were told over and over that other jobs were running late and they would be there in 1-2 hours - no one showed or called. We started to make bets whether they would show or not. It was very frustrating. When they finally did show up, they did stick to the work and the finished product was OK - but not excellent. When they peeled the tape off to exposed the "fake" grout lines, the edges were not clean as the adjoining plaster cracked. They tried painting it with the grout color - but it didn't turn out too good. They "forgot" to paint the grount lines on the walkway and it took us awhile to get someone back to finish it. Also, when I asked that they just mail us the final invoice, they claimed they didn't do business that way - very strange. Just be careful when working with this group.
Description of Work: We requested and received a quote for services to install a stamped and colored concrete patio and a small walkway. They arrived with a very small crew telling us we did not need to be present while they worked. It took them several days to prep and perform the work, as expected. When completed, the patio had large blotches of color and the concrete had footprints and markings as if corrections were tried to be made. The contractor said that only one person was there to do the stamp and color work and it dried faster then he was able to work it. They were not happy with it and offered to redo it with the marbelite finish. We agreed. They had torn up our lawn terribly and we spent 2 weeks repairing it. The next crew arrived in July with more people. They worked 6 hour days for almost 10 days to redo the work. They worked hard, but used our hoses, nozzles, etc to do the work. They left late each day and we spent time cleaning up after them. The quality was OK, but they did not listen to us on the stain and grout colors we were looking for. Each day was a surprise in finding out what they did as they never really explained to us how the process worked. We were just getting anxious to have them leave.
