Description of Work: Flood leak assessment and water heater install. The install went well but in the end I don't think it actually needed to be done. I think the plumber mis-diagnosed the problem. He thought it was the water heater, so we got a new water heater. Next month the same flood happened, but he couldn't figure out where it was coming from. It turned out that the pipes were not leaking anywhere and in fact the leak was coming from a garden house left on outside that was close to the foundation. I think we paid $1200 for a water heater that really didn't need to be changed.

Description of Work: They charge extra for a Sunday call, came and said they could not repair the leak and they would come back tomorrow with a different truck. I still had to pay for the Sunday dispatch fee even though the did not fix the problem that day!

Description of Work: Bachman's most recent repair at my home was clearing the sewer line following a backup and basement flood. The job was done quickly and well. I've used Bachman several times before for large and small repairs, and they have always been easy to schedule, prompt, and efficient.

Description of Work: I had them do a variety of tasks - from replacing a cartridge on the shower to fixing a leaking pipe. They were great in every way but price. They charged $69 just for stepping in the door. I'm not sure that included any repair costs.
