It worked out good They're really nice to work with. We had some issues with our sensors not working. They are really good with sending new ones. They're very friendly, if you have a problem they will work with you on solving it. They were friendly on the phone, they were not pushy on the sales.

Link interactive provided amazing tech support for the 2gig alarm system installation. We used them instead of ADT and could not be happier. We previously had ADT for 15 years and the technology is much more advanced and user friendly.

It was very easy to install. Link interactive preset everything before they sent me the equipment to install.

The system came pre set to our needs with all relevent information. The installation was painless and the system was ready in a matter of minutes. We tested the system for a few days and we are all set.

Install was simple and took a modest amount of time. Still need to install an outlet in a cabinet to hide the power cord for the keypad. The alarm is loud, but not audible outside the house. Consider an add-on unit if you want to alert the neighbors. Signal range is less than ideal for some window sensors; a repeater (most any 2gig module that is hardwired) of some sort will likely help. Motion sensors are cheap looking and do not inspire confidence. Tech support answered quickly and walked me through a technical question about adding a second keypad to the system. Cellular communications are far superior to ADT system at previous house. I do not like the contract renewal clause.

The system is very easy to install and works fantastic. Tech support was great and there to answer any questions we had during the install. Absolute best value for the money, very customizable.

Angie's List's deal for Link Interactive is a great value. Shipping was prompt and the sensors were already named and ready to use. Installation was easy and Link Interactive's U.S. based customer support team is excellent.

I haven't put the system up yet because I'm moving to a new home. They've been easy to work with and responsive so far.

I called Link direct, so he was the one that told me about this deal. The company is great! Every time I called with questions, they answered and everything was expected as they said. So happy with them and this deal! They were able to change sensors that it came with to ones I wanted. When I got the alarm system, it was all configured the way I asked them too. Easy instructions and set up. If you are looking at companies to choose from, choose Link. They are the best.

This company has been extremely responsive and easy to work with though the order process. I had about 20 different questions prior to purchasing this system, and their responses were on point, fast, and friendly. Thank you, Jose! I am looking forward to the beginning of this relationship. I don't know what the other review was talking about, this isn't a bait and switch. Everything contractually is pretty spelled out (my questions were about the system and features). If you think you're going to get $800 worth of equipment for $105 from anyone without any sort of a commitment, you're sadly mistaken. Even still, LinkInteractive's monthly service is about $15/ month less than my local alarm company, and I have a lot more control over my system with LinkInteractive. My only two 'negatives' about my experience (and even calling them negatives is a stretch)... I found a page on Angie's List that listed the promotion as the 'last day'. When I pulled it up the next day, the offer was still out there. Not a huge deal as I was ready to buy anyways. Second, the system was shipped ground. More of an FYI than anything... living in an Amazon Prime world, I'm used to everything now.

They told me Angie's list has to reverse the debit from my account. I've tried disputing through my pay pal account- still no help. At this point I WILL NEVER USE ANGIES LIST AGAIN OR ANY OF THEIR MERCHANTS. I WISH I COULD GET MY $9.99 BACK. This was my first purchase through Angie's list and I'm not impressed at all. I hope someone with some authority sees this review and expedites my credit. DON'T USE ANGIE'S LIST - THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT YOUR INITIAL PURCHASE AND YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO GET IN TOUCH WITH ANYONE AFTER THE TRANSACTION IS PROCESSED.

Link Interactive's product and service is very good so far. The sensors are sensitive and responsive. The customer service is professional and helpful. I have several questions about installation and using the product and they gave me satisfactory responses. The self-installation kit is pretty easy to do by yourself. The only downside is the connecting from the motion detector to the bracket is difficult because it doesn't have the hole to connect to the bracket. So one needs to find glue or use some tape to connect the motion detector with the mounting bracket. They should have changed to a much simpler design to allow easier connecting.

They provided me with the equipment in a timely manner. The only problem is that you have to pay for the service right away. I have not had the chance to installation the system myself since I purchased the equipment but they want be to pay a monthly monitoring fee when they are not monitoring anything for me yet.

It was a self-installed security system. The security system is really good, I like it.

It went well aside from some issues with the sensors connecting to the base station at first. Turned out that 2 of the 3 sets of batteries for the problematic sensors were weak. Replaced those and it's been fine since. System is easy to install and comes more or less pre-programmed, but some features require calling in to the Link Interactive support center to be changed.

The staff was incredibly helpful on the phone in fulfilling the order. In the time since then, they've helped me troubleshoot installation, and just make it as easy as possible. I had a family friend over whose an electrical engineer, as well as the installer from the cable company (that offers their own security product), and both were incredibly impressed by the quality of the system and ease of use. I would recommend that anyone use Link if they want an inexpensive, high quality option in which self-install doesn't mean "you're on your own."

My interactions with Link Interactive have been extremely positive so far. I purchased all the equipment through Costco.com. DIY installation was very easy with the instructions provided by Link. All the components came pre-configured and programmed to our main panel, which saved TONS of time in installation. We had an issue with one of the door sensors which required us to call technical support. I was on the phone with tech support for maybe 5 minutes before we had a resolution. While on the phone with the rep, I emailed a few photos of the installation and he was quick to provide a resolution to our issue. It was a very painless, quick, enjoyable experience. More importantly, I didn't have to wait on hold or go through a ton of prompts before speaking with a rep, which made the experience even better. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Link Interactive for their stellar customer service, solid products, great technology (the app is awesome), and reasonable subscription price. I love dealing with 'no hassle' companies who provide quality products and services - Link Interactive fits that mold.

If you're looking for a home security system with or without automation, this is the company to go with! I shopped at least a dozen companies, building the same systems. These guys were by far the most cost effective, great monthly rate, and the BEST customer service. The wife and I sat down and had two choices, these guys or a company with outdated looking equipment and no contract. I was willing to sign the contract and spend the couple extra bucks a month for these guys because of their service and technology. Quality. Affordable. These are your people!

We purchased a custom package for Link through Costco after making several phone calls to link to ask about compatibility of previous equipment. They were very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They were just as accommodating and knowledgeable about other sensors as they were there own. I had been so concerned about compatibility and I did not have one issue. I had one accessory I was unhappy with and they immediately processed an exchange for me, it did take a little longer to receive than I hoped but it was still an easy process start to finish. Even when I tried to program some of my own sensors and had some configuration issues they were very willing to help, never made me feel bad and offered information that would make things easier in the future. Customer service far exceeds what I got from ADT over the last several years and is half the price. I love the expandability and granularity of how I can fully customize this system without compromising the safety and security of my family!

The system is highly customizable to fit your home's needs. Whether you have 5 or 20 windows, Link Home Security will make it work. Installation is painless, and relatively simple. It took a little over 2 hours to complete, after programming. The system has been up and running since late August of last year(2014), and have had no problems thus far. I will update my review at 6 month intervals, so you folks will be hearing from me again, soon!
