I'm reviewing A1 garage doors- I'm not sure if it is this company. The tech arrived on time, checked out the door and determined the gear had to be replaced it. We then tried and it worked fine.

I was so impressed with the prompt service received by Advanced Door. The serviceman Tyler was very professional and clean cut. He knew exactly what to do and had it fixed in no time. He said in time our motor will need to be replaced. I will definitely call them again and have them install a new one when the time comes!

Overall experience from first phone call to final repair was excellent! Brody, the technician who came to service our call was friendly, professional and thorough with the diagnosis of the problem, estimate, and repair. He further diagnosed the cause of the damage and remedied the initial problem so that this failure wouldn't happen again. Based on our experience, would recommend their services and will use them again in the future! Two thumbs up!

The tech arrived on the same day I contacted Advanced Door but, didn't have the replacement part and suggested we went with another type/brand of spring sets. I agreed to the replacement. I had to call Advanced Door to find out if and when our work was scheduled so I could adjust our time to be home. I never got a call until the tech was on the way but I was not home. That added three more days to the work. When James arrived, the work went quickly and he made additional adjustments to the door opener chain drive that made it work smooth. The price was reasonable and I'm happy. Would hire them again.

Excellent. Technician showed up quickly, explained options to fix my doors, was in and out in less than an hour. He did not attempt and hard upsell, but did point out what could happen with the spring, and what that would appear like and what to do when it were to happen. For this service, he replaced all the rollers and lubricated everything else. The doors work great! Note: price included a discount to honor my pre-paid Angie's promotion.

It went great. Advanced Door is a very competent and responsive company. Very professional. It took two men about an hour or so to replace our very old garage door with one that is insulated, thick, and made of steel, not vinyl. They replaced rails, motor —— everything. They hauled off the old door and parts and left the site in great shape. Door works great. It is so nice to have a garage door that works right and is quiet as well.

We purchased an Angie's List coupon for a $49 garage door tune-up. When we made contact with the company, they were slightly vague on the appointment time, but did show up around the promised time. The guy seemed a little uninformed as to why he was at our house, but after we told him about the Angie's List coupon, then he was on top of things. Once he was in the garage, he was great. He gave us an idea of how much more life we could get out of our old door and performed some minor repairs and was quick and friendly.

I can't say enough good things about this company and their employees. Ian actually showed up EARLY, he was professional, pleasant and extremely helpful. He even gave me a call ten minutes warning call before showing up! They were able to fix everything the same day as the estimate and didn't have to replace all parts. The receptionist reviewed the Angie's List coupons with me thoroughly, so I received the best price possible. Soooo not only was Advanced Door EARLY, professional, helpful but they even beat their own estimate. I HIGHLY recommend Advanced Door to anyone in the area. These people are phenomenal and guarantee all their work.

I called the company at about 8:00 the next morning, and they were at my place 45 minutes later. Seeing that the company was located about 30 minutes away, their response time was great. After a quick assessment of the damage, they gave me a bid, which included not only fixing the broken parts, but other worn-out parts as well. Seeing as the door was about 23 years old, I had them replace them as well. They had all the parts on hand to fix the door. It took them only 45 minutes to replace the broken and worn-out parts, and lubricate all of the moving parts. They even left the can of spray lubricant with me, suggesting that I lubricate the moving parts every three to six months, including the springs. I had no idea that the springs also needed to be lubricated. They were professional, answered all my questions, had all the spare parts on hand. The door was fixed in about 90 minutes from the time I called, and that included the 30 minute drive to my house.

This was a $99 big deal purchase. They came out the next week after I bought the deal, but I don't remember. It may have been the same week, I don't remember. I had them do some other stuff too. It was a little pricey. I wasn't there.

Very frustrating from the beginning-- Initially, after repeated emails back-and-forth, struggling to try to get a day and time set up that fit with my schedule (they are only open till 3, or 3:30, and closed weekends), I noticed that I could not directly call the business due to the signature line on the outgoing email from the contact, Gidget, being incomplete. It took two emails just to get that cleared up so that I had a valid phone number to contact them with. My garage door inspection and tuneup was scheduled for a Monday morning and the tech would call prior, to confirm the time frame. I got that call at 8 o'clock that morning from Jake and he left a message. I called him back 20 minutes later and we settled on the timeframe between nine and 10 in the morning. I hurried out of my home to try to get a couple errands quickly out of the way and returned before nine.... then I sat in my garage waiting for Jakes' arrival until 10:30- thinking maybe I had misunderstood the timeframe – When I tried to call Jake it just went to voicemail. So I looked up the number from my email again, and called Gidget. Apparently Angie's list had the wrong address on file, and even though I had submitted my info and address through advanced doors' scheduling, with the correct address-that was not used, &Jake had gone to someplace I had moved out of nearly a year ago-a mobile home in a trailer park. (No garage) When I asked as to why I wasn't contacted when he was there (he left a business card, at a mobile home, with no garage?!!?) – I was told that he said he had tried to call me, but couldn't reach me....? So even though there has been several different communications earlier in the morning, I wasn't contacted and just left hanging while the tech headed down to another job 45 minutes away. After several more phone calls, very frustrating ones – I was told that a different tech would be available to be here before 4 o'clock. Regardless of a how the "Complete Garage Door Tune-up" turns out, this has been WAAAY To much effort and trouble to have something done I thought would be quick and easy accomplished. Even though the outdated info filed here in Angie's list was mostly to blame (my fault) nearly every one of the dealings thus far have all been very unpleasant. I received a call from Paul at about 2:30 saying he was on his way- ETA at about 3. He arrived at 10 to 3, did a quick inspection, advised that I replace all the rollers, because the "bearings were shot" and suggested adding a secondary brace, horizontally, to the rear to help strengthen/reinforce it. I wanted the bottom door seal replaced, he advised the price was $99.00. New/better rubber, as well as a new length of the metal edging.. That took them about 20 minutes, and they adjusted the big spring tension, took up the slack in the chain, readjusted the overall open/close positions and lubed all ten of the rollers. Paul redeemed the overall experience. It would of been very nice if I could of gotten a bit of a better deal on the work that I paid for-for wasting pretty much my entire morning, and alot of a already short day (going into work for a graveyard shift), but oh well. I feel pretty good about the work that Paul did, even if the total was $150 for everything.

Ok. Service was good. Noise was normal. Angieslist asks for three different days with ranges of times but your actual time might be different (as with a lot of contractors and vendors). The problem may be on Angieslist's side. It might be difficult for contractors to fit into Angieslist's way of scheduling.

We were able to get an appointment quickly, a phone call before he arrived, thorough inspection, reasonably priced repair, and friendly attitudes from the scheduler and technician. Highly recommend!

Very well. They reversed sensors and problem solved. They did say I needed another steel support for the double wide door. I researched the issue and they were right, so they made that extra sale plus u bought a can of lubricant for the rollers. They taught me the proper maintenance, which I never knew. Very helpful.

As far as I could tell everything went well. The technician was polite and on time.
