We were very happy with the service and the quality of the job done. Our door is much quieter than before and it works well.

There's always additional cost from the Big Deal. They replaced a bunch of stuff on my garage door.

We called because our garage door kept hanging up and randomly kept not opening or closing. Advanced Door sent someone out but they really were useless for the problem. The serviceman said he didn't know how to work on this brand - even though we had told them the brand prior to coming out - and he lubed it, said we ought to adjust the tension and then left. (I had previously done all those things on my own.) I was very unhappy to pay someone to come out and do next to nothing. The only positive is that I didn't pay a lot for it.

This was a big deal purchase. He really did not do much. The day after he left one of the two springs that he lubricated broke so I had to have them come back out to the house to replace that. After that I noticed that the garage door lifter when raising the door was emitting a loud vibration sound that it had never done. I am frankly sorry that I ever had the guys out because I started developing problems with the lifter I never had before they first came. I would say it did not work out well. I do not know if it was coincidence or if it is something the guy did, but I started developing problems with my garage door lifter that I never had prior to them coming out. I would not recommend. It is too much of a coincidence for my liking. While the guy was out he was trying to sell me products and services that I had not paid for, that I did not want and that I was not interested in. And lo and behold I need to buy products that he was selling. I did not watch him the entire time he was there and he was not at the house long -- maybe 10 or 15 minutes. He came did his thing quickly. He was there when he said he would be there. I was surprised at how little service was performed for the $49. I thought they were expensive and there were too many coincidental issues popping up immediately after that. They were very responsive, but they were past the buck responsive. When I called them out on the issues the day after they left they said it was an 11 year old door so stuff happens and that I have to expect that.

It went really good. He solved our 2 new major problems which we couldn't figure out. We mentioned 2 other problems that we've had and the guy that installed the door never could get it to work right, but the guy that came and did the $49 tune up found the parts that were needed, and we were satisfied with the service. It was $220 total when he was done. We have no idea with the price but we were satisfied with it. If we ever have problems again, we know who to call.

Purchased the service through Angie's list at 8:30AM. Service was scheduled and completed by 1:30PM. Impressed by the speed and efficiency of this provider.

They showed up and did everything exactly as they should have. They were quick and efficient, and did a good job. I love having service that goes exactly as you'd expect.

This was quick. I was about 30 minutes away when he arrived for my appointment. By the time I arrived, he was finishing up. The door is performing much better.

The repairman analyzed the problem and repaired the mechanism. I had him do some general maintenance and also install a new seal on the bottom of the door which had a gap before. A few months later the door would not close. I called and the same repairman promply came and pointed out the problem which required no repair and there was no charge for the visit.

It was okay. He was alright but I would probably go with the one that I've used in the past. There was nothing wrong with him but there was no reason for me to change from the previous one I used. I asked him to do something else since he was there. I asked him to get in a new roller or something and he never did. He never followed up. It wasn't about the money. There was something else that we discussed. Maybe it was to put new rubbers lining around it and he never did that. He was there and we were talking about it. He never did it and he never called back. He did fine but he just didn't follow up with that. A lot of places are like that and he did it. He was very nice. He showed up. He did the basic checking but he didn't come back when he said he would.

He was quick and helpful. I was concerned with the amount of noise my garage door made when it opened and closed. He made a recommendation on how to eliminate some of the noise as well as lubricated all the wheels.

Fixed the problem I was having and pointed out some cracked parts that needed to be replaced as well.

Good, he came back the next day and put in the new opener, and it is very quiet.

My husband is very protective of his mother (89 years old), and is very demanding when it comes to receiving what he feels is good customer service. HE was pleased with this service!

Tried to up sale me on several other items that were not needed for the repair. The items quoted were tremendously marked up. I was able to negotiate a better price, agreed to have the additional rollers and stableizer installed, but the repair still was very expensive.

Advanced Door is awesome. We had a really old wooden door that kept breaking and they gave us a bid for new everything and none of the other companies we got bids from could compare to them by price or warranty. The technician installing the door was very fast and efficient. Very pleased!!

It was frustrating because they didn't give me a window for when they were coming. The technician was supposed to call the morning of the service and give me a timeframe. However he didn't call. I called the company and was told by the technician that he'd be there "early to mid afternoon". He didn't arrive until 3:30. I did not like not knowing when he was going to show up. I'll only use them again if they ca be more specific about the service time.

Provider was professional and did the work quickly. Good thing, because I couldn't get in or out without him!

Advanced door provided an excellent high quality professional crew to repair and tune up our overhead garage door.

This provider worked me into their schedule, twice. Both times they accommodated my schedule. Once on premise, he quickly figured out why the door was not working. The top panel was cracked where the motor pulled on it. He gave me an estimate for a new panel which I was willing to buy in order to repair. Once I gave the okay, he learned the panel was no longer available (15 years old). He could get me a similar panel but it would be a bit different. This is in a condominium with a strict HOA and he then came up with an idea to install a metal bar across the broken portion of the panel. SUCCESS. All was working from the garage button. He changed the batteries in the remote button to learn that a fuse had been blown on the computer card in the motor. He had to order a new card and arrange for a second visit to install the new card when it came in. It took about a week when he called and now I am very very happy.

They were very prompt. I don't have any issues with the quality so I don't have any way of judging it. They did what they said they would do and gave me the price before they came out. They tried to up sell a little bit when they got here- to change a few things.

Listened to my explanation of what was happening and came up with adjustment that seems to be working. Also recommended putting in a surge protector to keep opener from needing be reset when there are power outages - which happens several times/year in this area. we've had several other companies service the door over the years and none had ever mentioned this easy solution.

This went very well. He was on time, professional and explained all of the procedures. He did mention I could use new wheels for the door as the door is 25 years old. I really didn't want them replaced at this time. I appreciate the fact he did not pressure me in anyway to have the wheels replaced. All around, a good experience.
