I was very impressed with the service man (can't recall his name). His suggestions made sense and he explained them very simply. My garage door seems to open with ease and is much quieter than before. Makes me feel that it will last much longer than how it was before. I believe the improvements were worth the money I paid and would probably use Advance Doors again if needed in the furture.

He showed up on time and was very pleasant. Explained the problem to me and suggested that the door was a little off-kilter and that had put some extra stress on the brackets. He also explained that I could upgrade the system if I wanted, but that the repairs he was doing were likely to last for 10 years. I liked that there wasn’t a lot of pressure, and that my options were clearly explained. He went on to balance the door and completely lube the system. It’s never been so quiet!! Also, he changed the lightbulbs for me, just because he noticed they were out. I wish I could remember the cost of the service!!! I did pay him a little more to change out the wheels on the door and lube the system, but it was not for more than $50-60 additional and well worth it.

Did the inspection and service to our old ailing garage door opener on 2-5-14 ( for a 2 1/2 car size ) that we hadn't been able to open other than manually for a while ( and thats not the easiest task!). Got it working again ( without any additional charges ) but as with anything past its prime, couldn't guarantee how long it would keep working. Options for a new opener explained and scheduled the installation for the next day. Showed up on time after calling to report reason for delay from original appointment time. Installation and explanation of new products completed in timely manner with great clean-up, too! All old parts whisked away. Now, we have a whisper-quiet, smooth as silk garage door opener! So glad I picked up this great deal! Thanks, again!

Let's just say I didn't buy a new door from them a month later.

It worked very well and we were very pleased.

The tech was very helpful; and then he lubricated all the parts and changed some of the rollers. I do I have to let them know that the lubrication did dripped onto my floor and car and I am not sure if it will come off of there. I’m not sure if it left any damage. But he was very helpful and answered all of my questions.

He did a great job. When I called to set up the appointment he was able to fit me in right away.

I bought a special on Angie's list to resolve an issue about the garage door not being opened by the opener. Scheduling was ok - it was New Year's time and even though I did not get the day I wanted, we were able to work out a mutually acceptable day. The technician arrived on site right on time. The original problem with the door turned out to be simple. He just needed to reset/resync the garage door opener with the transmitter as I had changed the battery and had not used that opener for a while. it seemed like the door opener lost the signal configuration. The technician inspected the tensions and grease on my door bearings. I also asked him to look at by bigger garage door. He recommended putting in a supporting bar in the middle as older doors tend to loose support and curves in. The technician replaced by weather strip at the bottom of that door (put in a new aluminum strip with enhanced rubber). I am very happy with the work that was done on the doors and would be happy to recommend this company.

We got an appointment time within one business day, and when the technician who was scheduled to come was delayed, the owner came instead. We were presented with 2 options - one to fix the problem and get the door to pass safety by replacing the springs with safer replacements, and the other to replace the non-standard-size wheels and tracks and the garage door as well. We chose to replace the door, since we don't want to have to make another service call in a few years when the other parts potentially finish wearing out. The door wasn't available from the factory on time for a Christmas Eve installation date, so they called us as soon as they knew the part was delayed. We rescheduled for the next week and everything happened on time and properly on that day. We had an Angie's List coupon which was helpful with the price.

They fixed the problem we were having. He did additional work on the second door. I don't know how the cost of this service would compare to another company, but it was so easy to just have him do everything. I would use them again.

After looking for someone that does repair we found Advanced Door, LC on Angie's list. I called them and they were able to come the same day - turns out that our gear was non-functional - it had worn out. The guy knew right away what the problem was, he replaced the part and everything was working again. Thank you "Paul" for your service. We are very happy with this business. Saved us a lot of money by replacing the part.

They were fast and efficient. They got the repair done in about 30 minutes. The technician was great and I had no problems with them. The scheduling was good.

It went great. The guy came on time and knew what he was doing. It was a really good experience.

I was told they could come out that morning and would be at my home at approx. 11:30 or so. Paul was about an hour late, and the only reason I didn't give an A rating is because I wasn't informed he would be late. I was working from home, so it was really no big deal, but it is courteous to keep the customer informed. Paul got right to work, fixed the spring and offered to replace the other spring, also, because it will likely break in the near future (they are quite old), and they would provide a lifetime warranty. Great deal, as far as I'm concerned, since these springs have broken several times due to our heavy door. He also looked at the non-functioning light and cleaned out the socket where the light bulb goes (although it still doesn't work, so an electrician is needed). He was very thorough and very polite. He even texted me later with names of online companies for my husband's classic car after we chatted for a minute. I forgot to use my Angie's List coupon, so I later called Kyle, who immediately honored the 10% discount and credited my credit card. I will definitely use Advanced Door again.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It worked well. They got the door running very smoothly and it closes well now. We waited a couple of weeks after the purchase to have the service. We just paid the cost of the deal.

On time. Said I needed an additional brace. Forgot to apply the Angie's list discount.

Prior installation caused problems that I tried to fix, but I could not really solve the problem. The service guy saw the problem immediately, and offered a fix, at additional cost to the scheduled "tune-up". I expected (hoped-for?) this, and am completely satisfied with the work. Cost was $50 for the tune-up and $118 for repairing the door (adding stiffener, relocating the lifting arm, replacing all the rollers, and adjusting the travel).

Great, the appointment was set for the next day, he was punctual and had both doors running smoothly in no time.

He arrived on time and was very professional. Performed a routine inspection and recommended a fix that did the trick and cost was minimal. I will definitely have them back in the future.
