Contacted Damon to discuss refinishing 20 year old cabinet doors. He came out that same day, inspected the cabinet doors and gave a quick estimate of the cost per door. He offered to take two doors from the bathroom cabinet as a test sample to see if we liked the outcome and provide a more accurate estimate of the cost. He brought them back a few days later looking just like new. Amazing! We were sold. We agreed to have him take all the other doors and drawer fronts. A little background: The color of the cabinets had changed from natural maple to to more of a honey maple due to age and sun exposure, and we liked that aged color since it complimented our floor and counter top colors so well. Also, our upper cabinets were in great shape and didn't need work, but we needed the color of the lower cabinet doors to match the upper cabinets which would require a stain match. Damon caught all this and worked with his stain supplier to custom mix the stain for a perfect match. Additionally, he re-built one of the drawers that had been damaged through wear. I was impressed how organized he was. He thought to map the doors and drawer fronts to their original location so they would be easy to re-install. All throughout the process, Damon stayed in touch and communicated his progress. There were no surprises. His craftsmanship and quality are outstanding. I heartily recommend him for any type of furniture or cabinetry work. Thanks Damon!!!

It turned out gorgeous and compliments the other walnut cabinets I have in the rest of my kitchen. His work is detailed and he holds himself to a very high standard with his work. Excellent. He started the day after we called him. Got the project finished in three to four days. Nomad's work is extremely good, he is a friendly guy, and we would DEFINITELY use him again. He knows what he is doing and the price was great.

Excellent from start to finish

Damon has an artistic eye and provided really useful tips based on his past experience when we were designing this unit, though he was very amenable to our own desires. The bench unit looks great and has drawers underneath for storage. Damon was very meticulous and particular during installation. Great work, reasonable price. Already having him bid on another project.

Damon was easy to have in our home, got along well with or pets, and I trusted him completely. His craftsmanship is stunning, he cleaned up after himself and did exactly what I asked for. I would hire him again.

Came to our house to do another job. I asked if he could/would refinish the front door. He said OK. Took door for 4 days. Came back, rehung door. Door looks great.

Answered the phone when I called, scheduled work promptly, arrived on time, completed work in a timely manner, charged us by the hour for labor plus materials. Detailed oriented, quality work.

I gutted my kitchen and he helped me design the cabinets. He custom built the cabinets. His experience from his many years of woodworking was very helpful in that he could offer suggestions and insights to what might work and what wouldn't be such a good idea. Ultimately it was my choice but his experience was invaluable in that I have never designed a kitchen before. His work was impeccable. Every other contractor that has been in my house has remarked at the quality and beauty of my cabinets. He is an artisan in his design and quality.

Damon has over 30 years of experience, references, a portfolio, and a list of happy customers. He is a perfectionist and his work is artistic and exquisite. His prices are comparable to Home Depot and IKEA but you get a custom piece of woodwork!
