Technician arrived as scheduled, was polite and accurately diagnosed the problem (needed new fan housing unit.) quoted over 700 just for that. Then he proceeded to tell us all the things that should be done while they had that unit out. By the time he was done we were up to $1700.. and debating the idea of just replacing the whole furnace (which is 8 years old) These guys aren't about service-- they are about SELLING. Buyer beware-- I won't be back. P.S. Humphrey heating and air did the job for $500. And didn't try to up-sell me at all.

We have worked with Scott Hale on several projects in our home. Our initial appointment was for a tune-up. Upon learning of our systems' inefficiencies, we then had a new AC and furnace installed. We subsequently raised some questions about our purchase, and the company took the time to visit us at home to talk more about it. We were invited to visit their office and speak with employees, and we had a delightful experience learning how things work within the company to provide quality service and customer care. We were then given a complimentary service protection plan (SPP). We used the SPP to have a whole home inspection of plumbing. We then had toilets rehung and multiple plumbing tweaks throughout the home. I was most excited that Scott Hale was also able to vent our basement dryer outside. We were informed of a plumbing need in the shower which turned out to be a misdiagnosis. In the end, through another visit from the wonderful plumber, Anthony, we discovered a tub leak had not been properly fixed (by another company as an emergency call). The larger issue was a leak in the shower piping (not the shower pan as initially thought and planned to repair). Scott Hale's employees performed a great amount of work to fix that leak and replace the hardware then did not bill us. Scott Hale has gone the extra mile to ensure we are satisfied with the work and pleased with their customer service. It has become a sincere pleasure to work with this company, and we have grown to trust them and will rely on them for future plumbing, heating, and air conditioning needs. Further, they work closely with a subcontractor for drywall, painting, and handyman work. This person did fantastic work for us to repair the ceiling and wall damaged by the leak as well as the ceiling patch for the dryer venting to the outside. I would recommend Scott Hale highly. This company provides prompt service, performs high quality work, and cares enough to put forth extra effort and diligence to optimize the customer's experience.

Even though we live at least 30 minutes away from their offices, Justin was punctual as all appointments have been in the year since we started doing business with Scott Hale Plumbing Heating & Air. We had to replace our old furnace, air conditioner, water heater and added a UV light system in the furnace for health reasons. We joined their Service Partner Plan when we purchased the new system last year, (which we highly recommend!), and it has more than paid for itself.

They were exactly on time, clean, super friendly,knowledgeable and honest. Worked efficiently and got the job done. Thanks guys. I feel I got a great service and a Heating/AC company if I need one again in the future.

A few quick repairs were made that I did not have the knowledge or tools to do myself without charging extra which was very helpful.The water heater was also flushed clean.

The repairman was very professional. Once he found the problem, he coordinated fixing the furnace with me and the Disaster people who were working on cleaning up the house. (We had frozen pipes). The repairman was very flexible with his timing to fix the furnace, as well as being cognizant of the cost of fixing the furnace. (Fixing it on a weekend vs fixing it on Monday at regular work hours),

The company sent a knowledgeable and polite representative to our home for bid. He was on time and came again the next day with the work crew. He clearly explained the procedure introduced the work people and was available by mobile phone for any additional questions we had. Additionally their home office called prior to people arriving to let us know they were on their way. Work crew was punctual and worked very hard. They dug the trench by hand, did not damage plants, and considering the messy job that this is, they cleaned up very well after they had finished. They used tarps to collect dirt and rocks, so damage to lawn and replaced sod was minimal. The cost was $3800, and we purchased their one year service plan, which allowed us several discounts to reach the final cost. We were very pleased with the work, their guarantee, and price. We have had this type of work done at previous homes, and this company was compares very favorably with other companies we have used. We will use them again.

We had our sewer backup into our basement shower and toilet. They came out and cleaned main sewer line. Then they ran a camera and noticed that we had roots that had grown threw the pipe and said it had to be replaced. They were very professional and explained the situation well and showed me the blockages in the pipe. They gave us a bid and we decided that it was expensive enough that we should seek several bids. After having 3 separate bids, theirs came in at the highest price, but I gave them an opportunity to match the best bid I got and they came within $500. Once they started work, they did the project in 2 days. We never lost service from more than 2 hours. Their hole in the ground had the precision of a heart surgeons and everyone was polite and professional as they worked. We were very satisfied with their work even though it was project no one wants to have done.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out fine. They did what I was expecting.

It went fine. But he told me I needed to have some additional work done - taking out the coil and cleaning it which would cost about $900!! I have since had two other companies come out and give me their opinion about this and neither agreed with this suggested work. I feel like Steven was trying to take advantage of me and I will never call this company again.

The technician was very professional when he came to check our air conditioner. He was very knowledgable about it and provided me with valuable information. I will be using Scott Hale in the future!

The company was very flexible on scheduling and show up on time as promised. The technician inspected the units as per the agreement but did not do any of the service items outlined in the offer. The report on the items needing service was complete and through. The documentation was clear and concise.

They are great. They did an awesome job. I did spend more than the big deal purchase but I don't, know how much more I paid, I don't, remember. I know that I paid some extra because I had some parts that needed to be replaced and I hadn't put it in or fix it. When I called them they came when they said they would, they were prompt and they did an excellent job. I was very happy with their services. On price I don't, know how much anybody else would charge so how about a (B).

Remarkably professional and smooth service call. Plumber cleared out drains that were backing up and suggested solutions to keep them running well. Assessed overall condition of my plumbing, as I live in a 30-year-old condo. Suggested the most important upgrades and the various ways of dealing with them, both low-cost and top-of-the-line. Very impressive plumber. His work was immaculate, and he was totally professional.

Scott Hale Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning had a service guy that came out and worked around our schedule. We were impressed, he came out and stayed until 9:00 pm a couple of the nights because we couldn't get home until 6:00. It was a pretty big job so he finished all of it and cleared it to do the job when we were home. We didn't have to worry about running home, and we own our own business so we can't just run home here. For the service and the price it can't be beat.

Scott actually came out on time, performed the service, and was very congenial as well as knowledgeable. This particular tenant has a high approval threshold and after Scott left she called to let me know that he was finished and fridge worked great. But, most of all she went on and on about how nice Scott was and she said said she will definitely keep his number for future reference (as will I) when they move to their new home. So we both give Scott high praise and have no problem putting our seal of approval on his work.

Scott Hale Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning are a well-known company and professional. Their prices were comparable. They did the job as expected. They also did good follow-up. Their yearly contract is very, very reasonable.

Gentleman wore booties all the time he was in the house. Ran a snake in toilet flushed it and went in living room and started filling out bill. It took him longer to fill out bill than to run snake in toilet. When he first arrived we told him about last person we hire for this job and not giving any warranty with it. He seemed surprised that no warranty was given. We told him the last persons fix had lasted only a week. He told us we needed a new toilet and the least expensive one he could get was over $500. Then he added He would give us no warranty on his work. The next day the toilet quit. He seemed more interested in selling us a toilet than fixing the problem. The first person flushed the toilet several times with several sheets of toilet paper in it and said he felt the toilet was not the problem. Scot hale flushed it once and said the toilet was the problem because the pipes were plastic and never clogged. At this point I am frustrated with Scott Hale Plumbing and would not buy a toilet from them if that is what is needed. After I originally gave them an F they called me and asked if they could come out and make things right they did and gave me a gift certificate that was worth 85% of what I paid. He left me a card and asked me to call him if and when I had any more problems that needed fixing.

I took advantage of their Angie's List Deal for a drain cleaning for $59.00. I was somewhat concerned that the offer was too good to be true, but their work was performed efficiently and effectively. I live in an older home, built in 1947, so access to pipes and their old condition can sometimes be a problem. Not so in this case. The workman was able to get the clean out open (it was quite stubborn) and the drain cleaned with no problem. The drain now works well and I smile everytime I use that sink, since I had previously been avoiding it. Also, the workman was exceptionally meticulous about cleanliness, wearing shoe covers inside the house and being very careful in the work area, both very much appreciated by me. I somewhat expected a "hard sell" on their other products and services, but while they answered other questions I had, there was no pressure for further services. I would definitely call them again.

They were very good. They showed up on time, did the job like they were supposed to, and gave me great advice for maintenance.
