Description of Work: As far as I was concerned not a thing. He was here for approx. five minutes. It wasn't Scott, it was an employee. He came here for the purpose of tuning up my furnace and all I got was how this and that had to be replaced for hundreds of dollars. I wouldn't recommend this service to my worst enemy. TAKE HIM OFF YOUR LIST.

Description of Work: Service was replacing an underground water line that was leaking between the meter and the house. They removed landscaping, trenched very deep while preserving sprinkler lines, cut concrete sidewalk away from the municipal meter box, which was located in the sidewalk (an awkward, unusual location). They restored the landscaping and cleaned all waste, restored the site to as close to the original state as possible. They redid the connection within my basement to the house main water line. Service was completed in two days plus an exterior cleanup. Service was as promised, professional, and complete. I am very happy with the result and would hire them again.

Description of Work: I bought the offer from Angie's List that sold the services of Scott Plumbing to check my water heaters. I have three or four of them.The two guys who came were on time and neat doing their work. After they left I was so impressed that I asked Scott to check my sewer line, since neighbors up the street had a whole house sewage disaster fairly recently, a huge unspeakable mess. The access to the sewer in my house was in my lower level guest bedroom. When the two guys from Scott came they were able to find the open the place to insert the camera. They told me my sewer line to the street was OK. And they let me watch the camera as it moved through the pipes under the street. Both guys left. They were very neat. I live in a 3 story house. I live alone. I seldom use the downstairs except to do laundry. My cleaning crew arrived several days later. When they got to the bottom floor they found the carpet in my Guest BR bath soaked. And some of the icky water ran into a closet. I called Scott and right they away sent a disaster clean up crew at their expense. It was not a large area that was affected. But people were in my house daily for almost a week remediating the problem. Scott paid for it all. The cap the young guys opened had been in place for 23 years. They did not notice that the cap cracked when it was removed and they put it back. Another person from Scott replaced the cap entirely. I would certainly use Scott again. They were responsible and at no time did I doubt that they would fix the mess.

Description of Work: Shower head had a constant drip. Technician opened the valve and said, a new "shutoff" (or something) valve needed to be replaced. He took my old valve and left for the store. When he returned and replaced the valve with the new one--it still leaked. He said that he would have to charge me for the part because he "threw the old part in the garbage" on the way to the store. He also said that our water pressure was too high, and lowered it so that that the leak wouldn't leak faster as we weren't in the position to pay another $1,500.00 to have him tear out the formal front room's wall to get to the shower. (He said it would be easier that way instead of removing tiles around the faucet). We've been up until now without hardly any, if any, water pressure on his advice. Today, we woke to NO pressure, rust in all our toilets, sinks, etc. Some water trickles out the faucets. We were advised (after explaining this to our Water Pro Water Department here in Draper, Utah, that we should have another plumber look at our stuff--and that the pressure was probably the problem. I'll let you know, that's why I am here on Angie's List.
