there are many things wrong with utah flooring and design 1) even though agreeing to send a check through my bank, UFD hounded me for payment the same day, from multiple numbers, through text and calls. ufd continued to harass me for payment days after. they even wanted to get my bank on the phone to confirm payment. they literally asked me if the check was going to bounce. 2) their customer service is not even that. their company culture is that they are right and the customer is wrong. texting/calling ufd, their responses were passive-aggressive, condescending and belittling. what ive experienced backs-up my opinion that their company culture is toxic. i was somehow referred to utah flooring design from the company floor and decor. they are a NATION-WIDE company. ive submitted a complaint to them so they know the type of company they are partnering with. i should of checked their BBB rating which is only 2 stars out of 5.

The guys that came speak Spanish; unfortunately, we do not. I was very appreciative that the guys had an app on there phone to translate. They also had someone to call that would help translate and they did as often as required. I am so pleased on their METICULOUSNESS on leveling the ground. I have put forth a lot of money on upgrades this last two months, I am the Extremely Satisfied with their work.

There was a misunderstanding on my part not knowingly know they would automatically take it out of the same account I used for the down payment. I wanted to pay it with a different account. I was waiting for a final statement asking for the final cost. I didn’t receive one. They automatically took it out of the account I paid for the down payment with. I didn’t know they would do that. I wanted to pay the final cost with another account. Glad the funds were in there. The floors turned out beautiful. Jesse did a wonderful job. I would recommend them, and I would ask them back. It was the way they took the money out of the account before informing me that I was unhappy with.

UNBELIEVABLY BAD/SLOPPY/UNPROFESSIONAL - DO NOT USE I want to start with - I want nothing for free. I mostly wanted an apology and some sort of customer service for the 6 hours I spent driving back and forth to the location when pushing the time out randomly throughout the day. Money is not the issue here - I could not care less about the money it cost. It was cheap so one thing to note is you should expect to get what you pay for because this job was installed poorly and looks terrible. Found out as I was driving to unlock the location that they were going to be 3 hours late. They charged me for the full amount of the job immediately even though they had not even shown up yet. Then he texted again saying he would not start until 5 hours late (We do not live in this location and had to drive out there (an hour away). He never let me know he had even arrived. They finished the job 7.5 hours late. I had to drive out there 3 times because we cannot just leave the location unlocked (6 hours total of drive time for me that day) Someone called me and spoke to me in an understanding way and let me know they would get back to me and will be giving me some kind of refund for the inconvenience, drive time (6 HOURS), and bad communication. They then gaslighted me and acted like nothing had gone wrong that day on their part and that conversation I had did not happen. They will probably respond to this with some bull saying none of this happened and they responded promptly. They did not (I have emails and text screenshots) - do not be fooled by the first estimate appointment. They were unreliable, sloppy, unprofessional, and the worst customer service I have ever seen. We will not be using them and I would not recommend using these scammers to ANYONE.

I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews, but the sub-contractor did a good job and had excellent communication. My only real complaint is that they charge your card before the job is complete.

Tile installer, Steven, is a first-class person and installer. He is very careful in every aspect of his work. Very professional in his demeanor. Did an excellent installation. On a scale of one to ten, Steven is a solid twenty in our estimation. Great job. Would recommend Steven for sure. Paul Turpin, Utah Flooring design consultant was also excellent and very helpful in setting up our job. He provided the list of materials we picked up for the job, and provided an accurate estimate of the cost for the job. Thank you to both of these gentlemen! Gerald R.
