They gave me a quote because I didn't know the measurements of my house when I called but they never adjusted the price to the size of the job they just took the estimated price

This company comes on like they are some huge company with hundreds of personnel working for them. Don't be fooled by their tactics they are very good at getting every penny out of you. They get the jobs that they charge more than double for. Then they hire subcontractors to com and do the work. So here's what happens. You hire Utah Flooring & Design to do a jod for you. They have you sign a contract for them to do the job. The contract has only Their interests in the contract. Nothing in the contract is to protect the the consumer for anything. Then Utah Flooring has a bunch of subcontractors come and go thru your house or project. Then Utah flooring uses the lowest bidding subcontractor out of all that come to look at and bid on the job. Then the whole time while the job is going on they work every angle they can on you to get every penny they can by claiming all sorts of things. And when you don't fall for the extra charges then they slow down the finish date unless your like me and they just completely stop working even though you paid them for the whole job. Yep I know. And I thought that what they promised was all good but I was wrong. If your still crazy enuff to use this company DO NOT PAY THEM UNTIL ALL WORK IS COMPLETE AND SATISFACTORY.!!!! Look closely at what they done and if it's not just as you want don't pay for it because they will never come back. They will rip you off.

The company did not come on the day that they stated that they would. We had arranged a hotel so that we would be out of our home so that they could work. We had to pay for an extra day at the hotel which we had not planned on. The baseboards were not taped, consequently the sander made black marks all across the the baseboards about 3/4" off the floor. I am now having to repaint these areas by hand. In many areas the filler between the solid red oak boards did not take well and we were left with holes in many of the spaces between the oak flooring. The finish looks nice but I would have liked a more organized and professional response from the company.

The estimator was prompt, knowledgeable and efficient. The person sent to do the demolition was prompt. But for two days no installer, finally had someone come after a week. The estimate included a re-stretch of my dining room carpet. Charge was sent through before that service was performed. still not performed. The installer who finally came did a beautiful job.

They messed up the selected tile, the schedule for install on 2 occasions and then hired an outside contractor to do my install, fortunately that was the best thing they did, they did not provide the correct tile, nor the color of the grout to the installer. Really poor service from beginning to end, except the contract installer was outstanding

We had a small problem in getting them here for a small job but once they were here they were quick and very professional. They finished the job in one day instead of coming back a second day. I love what they did.

Do not hire this company Hired them to install glass mosaic backsplash. Were to arrive between 12 and 3 , arrived at 6:30 pm and rushed through the install. Used a standard tile cutter (not a wet saw) which resulted in broken tiles and uneven cuts (this was done inside my house on my new countertop). Used a hand grinder (outside) for smaller cuts that also resulted in bad cuts. Tiles were installed up to the edge of a window, and when I expressed my dissatisfaction about one tile not coming to the edge like the rest did, I was told " there is nothing I can do about it, that's the way it is". When asked if he could smooth off the sharp cut edges around the window he said " I don't have my tool with me, you will have to go buy a glass stone and do it yourself". We had to re-grout a lot of areas . My tile is beautiful, but the install is not.

Scheduling was miscommunicated internally. I received date confirmation that they would demo 23rd and start laying wood flooring 29th. While at work demo people came in to demo 16th and I was told by Kevin let me call the guys to stop demo as they were just about done. In addition, Michael and Jason told me "sorry" but that I'm on schedule for the 29th. If I'm still available?! So basically they expected me to go without flooring for two weeks! They then stated the best they could do was for 23rd. Well the only reason I'm giving them 4 stars for work is because of Nephi who did awesome work but he is a family member of Paul the owner who works for Home Depot. I wouldn't hire these guys. The guy who installed did great. The owner, well after talking to him on Monday when his team was scheduled to work didn't show up, he made me feel like it was my fault? Poor customer service!
