To be fair, we had an unconventional project where they demo'd our existing carpet and vinyl, installed soundproofing materials and reinstalled the used carpet as well as new laminate. This was a painful project where the 'sales' guy would advise on what we could/should do, then the installers would try and explain what should actually be done instead, which would contradict the sales guy. Then we had issues between demo guys and installers, communication between the invoice written up and the installers, communication between me and the installers. The issues were many and the customer service I experienced trying to rectify the issues was very poor. At the end of the day the new laminate looked great, the carpet was ok - just good enough to stop calling and just deal with it. Not an amazing experience - would not wish to do business with then again in the future. But again, the soundproofing we designed to do seems to have been effective and we are happy (ish) with the end product.

Jed Darger has completed my new house Home Theater Surround system Installation,TV Wall Mounting and full integration of other devices. He is quite knowledgeable in his work and quotes are precise, also on time person on his work, with full of dedication and he has completed the work on time without any breaks for a minute, my task was a bit lengthy, and too much which took almost 2.5 half days to complete (9 AM to 5 PM) . I will definitely recommend him and want back for any other my future work. Great guy and good technical person. Regards, Guru

Good to work with. Friendly and completed at the price discussed prior to work starting. Tile team had several projects going at this time. Seemed to be a challenge to work both deals.

Utah Flooring and Design did a great job. They were quick and the cost was fair.

Horrible customer service, won't call me back. Work not done correctly, boards separating. Had to call 6 times to come back still not fixed right.

Could not rate lower then 1 star. Do not hire! They charged my credit card for the balance before the project was completed. (As of this review, it still is not complete) I have a contact stating I would pay balance in cash. Neither project started on time. 2nd project still hasn't started. No communication. Very Unprofessional.

They were professional and showed up when scheduled. Kimball was the project manager answered my questions and was great to work with. Anselmo and Jonathon did a good job installing the floor. Thanks to Nate and Kyle for helping put back the furniture into the rooms.

Worked with Travis in the Sandy location. He answered all my questions, provided valuable information on different kinds of carpet padding.

Based on my experience with Utah Flooring my recommendation is to stay far away from this company. What was supposed to be a 3 day project to install wainscoting and baseboard trim is now entering its 3rd week. There were a couple of no-show appointments, no communication and a total lack of customer service. I ended up terminating the project and will get someone else to finish it.

Delays and excuses. Poor workmanship. Didnt keep appointments. Took their final payment without my approval!

Our installer Rob was very professional and did an excellent job installing our Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring. It looks beautiful.

Unreliable. Job took three times the amount of time because of working part days or skipping days.The refinished floors look nice but what a headache!

Carlos Cruz did a great job installing our carpet. I recommended 100%.

Great company

The installer who put our tile in was excellent and did a perfect job. What I don't recommend about this company is they are horrible on feedback and following instructions. I asked my estimator several times to make sure the installer brought a particular material with him. I asked the project manager twice because I feared he wouldn't bring it and sure enough he didn't bring it. Since then I've asked them to bid another job for me because the installer was so good and there has been no follow up whatsoever from two different people.

Lots went wrong and they did little to fix it.

This company has a difficult time supervising their subcontractors. Final project was completed well. But, it required many telephone calls to get the last 15% of the project completed.

They were late getting to the home. They left behind razor blades in the carpet. They forgot to cut an opening for the heat register and when asked if they would come back and fix the issue they never showed up. Billing department couldn't get their act together and reimburse me for the flooring that was canceled, this took 3 weeks. Carpet was not vacuumed.

Quality service. He even helped me remove items from a closet so he could stretch an additional bump of carpet. His service was excellent.

The installer was really young, but knew what he was doing and worked so hard. The floor looks really great. Everyone thinks it's real wood. He cleaned up the mess each day.
