The installer did a terrible job. I waited for 15 days for them to come back and finish the job. I had to move on with a floor I was not happy with. I requested a refund.

Floors look excellent

We hired Utah Flooring and Design to replace our old surround shower with a new tile shower. We were given a list of items to provide for the installation and were told it would be complete in a day or two. Not only did it take over a week to complete, but there were also several changes to the items requested by the subcontractor Utah Flooring and Design hired, changes in the scope of the project, and the shower edges were left unfinished. We were told that the nearly $4000 price we paid to replace a small basement guest shower (which we also demoed) did not cover completing the drywall hole they punched in the wall, but it also did not cover finishing the edges of the shower! Moreover, the price we were quoted was supposed to include cutting a foot from the current wall for venting, and because they did not know how to do it, they just tiled the whole wall. Ridiculous! How do you replace a shower and not complete the edges? How is your tile company still in business if you do not have anyone that fixes the drywall? The only reason we gave them any stars is because the tile work was decent.

They refuse to take my calls anymore, they told me not to call their office any longer.

We hired this company since they came a few hundred dollars lower. Day of installation, a sub showed up, and had no idea of the project. They just had a work order, I called the sales person who did the quote. Could not get a hold of him and then finally called me back an hour later. Told him the problem and he said he would their office to call the sub. At some point, the issues got resolved. During the entire time the sub and his team worked, they had music blaring and then had to talk at the top of their lungs because of the loud music. At some point, I went downstairs to ask them to turn down the volume so I can hear myself during my videoconference. They said what? I cannot hear you. The company that hired the sub did not bother to check in the work until the end of the day to make sure I sign their documents. Last but not least, the sub claimed they completed work on the quote that they did not. I told the office person I have surveillance videos that would prove they did not do the work, I was refunded after a week, but the office person said wow when I told her I have proof. I should have paid the extra few hundred dollars for the other company. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I absolutely love my floors! Camren Borg was a hard worker and very meticulous about the way things were done. Utah Floorings did a great job communicating and setting expectations . Would definitely hire again!

These guys were awesome. As for the guy who was upset that they took the other half out of his checking when the installer arrived. This guy obviously doesn't work in the construction industry. The product was on the job and they were beginning the install.
