Last winter we had no heat, and called Rocky Mountain Air Systems. They came to the house soon after we called them. After a few visits, with the heat going on and off, they determined the venting tubes that ran from the furnace to the outside of the house were too small. The entire unit was only 2 years old. It was installed by a company now out of business. Rocky Mountain Air Systems researched, found out proper size and length of tubing and installed it. We had a deck replaced since the furnace was installed, so they had to cut into the decking to install proper vent. They walked me through every step of the way, making sure I understood, and agreed to the placement of the vent cover. They went above and beyond, and offered to come back and replace a few small pieces of decking that he thought could probably be nailed back on. The job he did was great, and I didn't think the pieces had to be put back. This winter, the heat wasn't on, I called Rocky Mountain Air Systems, and they came only hours later. They replaced a blown fuse, and again, explained the problem to me, and showed me the blown fuse. They are honestly one of the greatest companies I've worked with. They are always friendly, professional and knowledgable. And if they aren't sure of the problem, they are honest with you, and don't stop until they solve the problem. We've owned three houses in Salt Lake, and a cabin, so have needed plenty of service repairs/remodels over the years, and it seems so hard to find companies/individuals that make half an effort, and care about what they do. That is why Rocky Mountain Air Systems is like a "breath of fresh air!"
Description of Work: Replaced tubing that vented air from inside the house to the outside.

Our furnace would periodically shut off leaving us with no heat in the dead of winter. We called Rocky Mountain Air Systems, and they came quickly. In the following weeks, our furnace would still shut off a few more times, but they came to the house shortly after I called to restore heat They talked to the furnace manufacturer, and determined the originally installed exhaust pipe was too small. They replaced the pipe, and consulted me before they had to drill into the underside of our new porch to install the larger pipe.
Description of Work: Made several visits to our house to diagnose, and repair our furnace.

Again, we have had many experiences using Rocky Mountain Air Systems over the years. They are the only firm we call.
Description of Work: We have used Dan and Parker for years. They do our fall tuneups and they have done repairs for us also. They are very responsive and trustworthy. They repaired a furnace for us, repaired two air conditioning units, fixed a water heater. They are very knowledgeable and professional. We call them with questions and they are very helpful. We had them check out the systems in a home we are buying. They don't try to sell us anything we don't need. They are our "go to" guys for heating and air conditioning.

I got a few estimates and this company beat those estimates by almost 2000 dollars. The person who came out to work was very professional and a pleasure to work with. The price was also good and I would continue to work with them.
Description of Work: They put furnace, humidifier and some other things in the basement.
