New Look Siding L.L.C.

We used New Look Siding to completely redo the siding on our home. They did a tear down, put up a rain shield, installed new siding, painted, and installed new soffit and fascia. We are very satisfied with the work they did. They remained communicative throughout the project and delivered on every part of our agreement. Their work is high quality and the workers were respectful and good at their craft. The owner checked in with us several times during the project and their business office was responsive to all of our questions and needs. I give them five stars for a job well done!

I had used this company in 2005 and was pleased with their work. When I purchased a house I didn't hesitate to use them again. BIG MISTAKE. They gave me a comparable bid on the roof and the windows. However, when they put the windows in they had to remove 14 separate 50 year old metals ones. I was not home at the time BIG MISTAKE. I made the unfortunate to go to work. When I checked on them midday they said everything was going great that they had broken 2 windows getting them out. Which they told me they had picked up the glass. They LIED. They actually had SHATTERED glass and big pieces all around the outside of the house. There were pieces and shards everywhere. I have 2 dogs and they both cut their feet. When I realized all of the this the next morning. The glass pieces were all in the snow and difficult to see. I was extremely upset. I left them a message about the problem they didn't call me back. I did get ahold of the people who did the installation and he sent his son to come over and help find the glass. But in the snow you had to wait until the sun was just right in order to see the pieces. THEY NEVER APPOLOGIZED. I said " Why didn't you put down a tarp?" They said they never do that. I was very mad. I told the owner Rolph I wanted the vet billed paid. It took 4 calls and demands for that and finally he did pay it. I called other window places and tarps are mandatory for just this purpose of the breaking glass. I am still finding shards of glass in my yard 2 years later. I tried to get them to at least give me a discount on some future siding needs. NOPE They didn't care if I was a happy customer or not. I had already signed the contract so withholding payment was not an option . They insisted they knew a roofer who did quality work. The bid was comparable and so I allowed them to do the job. It seemed to go okay until they didn't clean up the work.I didn't notice the roof tacks all over the yard and again it was hard to see because of the snow. I asked them to run the magnet around the house to pick up the tacks. They wouldn't come back. The workers that the roofer had hired didn't want to be there and the man who was in charge Ryan was hit or miss in showing. Ryan told me he was putting ice shield on the whole roof since it was a lower pitch. I was very pleased with the roofer at the time. Roof looked great but because I can not get on the roof myself I assumed it was done correctly. It is now January 6, 2010 and my roof is leaking a black fluid along the north west wall. I called New Look Siding to whom received the money. Only to be told Ryan had died 18 months ago and that the workmanship was only guaranteed for 2 years. Rolph came out with Ryan's brother and told me per code they did it right and that they didn't have to put the ice shield over the whole roof even though I paid for it. 2 years is the warranty... I then found out that they had not pulled a permit for the roof work and that the code would have called for a double layer of ice shield. So now to get it fixed I have to have 1/2 the roof pulled up and apply the second layer of ice shield and reshingled. About 2,000 dollars. No appologies. New Look Siding will not stand behind anything they do and they just walk away. I tried to get them to at least appologize or give me a discount on the siding for the problems with the windows. But after the roof started leaking NOTHING will do except for them to fix it.
