Jordan Mower

Dropped blower on May15th, it wasn't starting. Was told 7-10 days to repair. They had tuned up the blower one year earlier, and it's used just once a week during yard season, so we didn't expect an expensive repair. On day 15, I stopped by to pick up the blower. After a 5 minutes wait, the woman behind the desk said someone will be with you shortly then walked outside to chat with a friend (in plain view!). Another 5 minutes, a young man walked up. I explained why I was there. He said "Name?", I told him, he looked for the paperwork, couldn't find it, then said "did we call you and tell you it was ready?". I said no, but that it was 5 days past their estimated so I just stopped in. He vanished in the back then came back and said the part was on order, it was delayed shipping due to the holiday, and should be done in 2-3 days. Day 23, husband stops in to pick up, same routine, same "did we call you?", same, still don't have the part. Three days later we received a voice mail that said "your repair is done, get it by 6pm today or tomorrow". When I went to pick it up, the charge was $119. Some of the parts replaced (spark plug) had been replaced by them one year earlier. When I asked why it took nearly five weeks to get a new air filter for a Stihl product of which they are a licensed dealer, I was told it was on back order. When I asked why no one ever told us that, I was told "we don't call people and tell them that kind of thing". When I asked for acknowledgement that a month to replace an air filter seemed pretty extreme, I was told "your blower runs fine, and clearly your in a mood" and Tyler walked away. Apparently this is a family business. The unpleasant woman behind the desk is the sister of the owner, the defensive young man behind the counter is the owner's son, and I'm not sure how Tyler fits in. But if they are all that unpleasant, I'm guessing the owner is too, so there's hardly a point in complaining. We've used them four times over the last seven years. Can they fix small engines? Yes. Do they do it quickly? Never. Is any interaction with them pleasant? Nope. This person will never go there again.

There must be some local shop that can work on mowers and snowblowers that do not have an attitude problem and can adjust a mower correctly.

They got some parts that I needed for my old lawnmower so that I could use it to mow my lawn. It was very quick, and they called me personally to let me know that they had received my parts they ordered for me.
