Description of Work: They added one pier support to the corner of my garage which was sinking. |The workmen were very professional. The office person was not so much. Because someone other than me called them initially, even though it was my home and my money which paid for the work, she insisted his name had to be on the warranty. Really? The office did go back and 'add' my name on the warranty too after I called them on it, but his name never should have been on it in the first place just because he made the initial call. They refused to take his name off the warrant saying it was their 'policy.' Hmmmm... I was the one who decided to use them. Other than that, it was a very positive experience and the workers had it done in a very short time.

Description of Work: The price was consistent with two other estimates, albeit quite a shock. The crew themselves were punctual and professional but the foreman/vice president typically was not. The job took three days and eleven piers were installed. While there was "staircase" separation of exterior brick and other signs of foundation settlement,there were no interior signs, until after the lifting procedure. These included:buckled crown molding,an interior door now "sticking", and a misaligned garage door/frame. I was extremely disappointed these concerns were totally disregarded.

+ 0 moreAfter receiving multiple quotes from other companies we decided to go with Atlas because they were the least expensive and because they had done excellent work at another house in the neighborhood. We told Scott what day would be best to do the job and he adjusted his schedule to fit ours. Day of the job a crew of 3 showed up right on schedule and got right to work. They were a great group of guys who worked well together and didn't mind showing me what they were going to do and how they were going to do it. They installed the pier and replaced the cement square they removed from the driveway, all in one day! The crew did an excellent job of cleaning up, you couldn't tell they were ever here! We were very happy with the work done by Atlas Piers...
Description of Work: A corner of our garage had some settling problems and Scott, with Atlas Piers, came out to look at it and provide a free estimate.. He concluded that we would need just one pier in the corner to lift the garage back in place and to prevent any further settling.

+ 0 moreI used them about twenty days ago and I couldn't find anyone else in Angie's List who could do the work what they did. They were very good. They dug 8' down to the foundation and then they sealed it up. They replaced everything the way they found it and they did very good work. I had crack that was leaking into my garage and they were able to get to it quickly and took about a week to get to it. Then they had it done in a few days and they did a great job. I called the people on Angie's List and they kept referring me to other people and no one did that work. One of the place said that they would do it but they said that would not dig the hole, so I wasn't very pleased with what I could find through Angie's List on that. I finally looked up my own records and used their phone number that I had. They were the only company that dug, filled up and replaced. They were the only company that I could find that would be doing this. Before they came in water was leaking into my garage. The thing that stood out the most about them was friendliness, competence. They were very helpful in answering questions.
Description of Work: I used Atlas Piers for foundation repair last week. They excavated to the existing footing at the corner. They went around and did 17' north at the back of the home and 17' south of the home. So they excavated all of that area. So it was totally 34' that they excavated. They cleaned the exposed foundation; they applied a membrane to the foundation wall. Backfilled and compacted the excavated area with the soil that they removed. They removed and replaced my air-conditioning unit. Also they had to take a part of my walk way and sprinklers and put everything back to my satisfaction. They had to take up the whole sprinkler unit.
