+ -1 moreI called to get help with several of our toilets not flushing completely. We had plunged and snaked to no avail. Fearing a deep blockage, I called Jim Hill Plumbing and he suggested I clean all the inlet holes under the rim and especially the large one at the base. It worked! My toilets flush easily again thanks to his advice.

+ -1 moreI HIGHLY recommend Jim. We recently needed a new water heater because the old one had a very small leak. We checked Angie's list and called a plumber (first plumber was not Jim). The other plumber came and quickly stated we needed a new one and left. I went to Lowe's to buy one and asked how much for install, was told $400 dollars! And I'm not even sure that included delivery because they mentioned something about its $75 dollars for delivery. Couldn't believe it. Called the first plumber we had called and he wanted $600! We even doubled checked to make sure he understood that we already had the new water heater at our house and he still insisted it was $600 for an install! Asked a trusted neighbor if he knew any plumbers and he recommended Jim. Called and he gave us a rough estimate which was hundred less than the competitors so we made an appointment. He was on time and was done in under an hour. Seemed very honest and fair. Will do business with him and recommend to friends!
Description of Work: Was for a water heater install but also ended up replacing the expansion tank. Price included the new expansion tank also.

+ -1 moreJim Hill has done a wonderful job for us on several occasions. The largest project he has done for us was installing the plumbing for a new bathroom (toilet, shower and sink) in the basement, but he has also done other projects such as re-routing piping for our exterior house faucets and for our sump pump. Jim is always punctual and very professional, as well as just being a pleasant person in general. He charges a bit more than some other plumbers from whom we've gotten estimates, but his excellent work and professional manner easily offset the difference. I would recommend him to anyone searching for a plumber and will certainly call him again when needed.
