John was absolutely amazing to work with. In the end, we stayed on budget, finished early, and the overall project turned out better than expected. The quality of the work was top notch and we were impressed by all the sub contractors John uses. John also gave us ideas to help make our project exactly what we wanted--he helped us design and make the playhouse, he helped customize the closets and shelves to be exactly what we needed for the space, and walked through framing with us to make sure all the rooms and closets were the sizes we hoped for. John has finished three basements for us and every time we are just so impressed, not only by the work completed, but also just how overly satisfied we are with the whole process. John is punctual, kind, easy to get a hold of and communicate with, and has so many great ideas with all of his years of experience. Even when our shower surround didn't come out as well as we liked, he was super great about getting it fixed for us. In the end, he just wants you to love your space. He has made the process of finishing a basement (x3) so pleasant and easy for us, and he does it in a very timely manner. He's very good at keeping the momentum and getting done as quickly as he can manage. Finding a contractor who is reliable and trustworthy can be hard to do, but John is all those things and more. You'll be so glad you hired him!
