I've used this vendor for 20+ years and I am always satisfied with his professional services and respect for our home. Not only did Kelly clean our chimney but he inspected it and made recommendations for possible fixes. We will definitely continue to use this service.

It was tough scheduling due to busy schedules, but Kelly was as accommodating as he could be and even made a day-of attempt to stop by before we left for vacation (but it didn't work out due to a delay on my part). We set the app't for 9a 12/4 and he arrived just before 9a. Great demeanor and offered affordable non-chemical solution to creosote removal. He showed me the tools used and said chimney "cleaned up good". We purchased ACS to spray on logs during usage, hope this assists with limiting future build-up.

Was very knowledgeable and helpful. Taught me quite a bit about the chimney and how to use it, since I had never had a wood-burning fireplace before. Cleaned up after himself very well.

The man who came was so friendly and so professional. He listened to my questions and concerns and then set about doing what I wanted done and pointing out some things that we needed. I was so impressed with him and with his business model - we will definitely use his company every year as the winter season approaches to get our fireplaces ready for a safe season. I also felt his price was really reasonable.

He arrived on time, set things up, did a wonderful job cleaning the chimney and replaced a brick that was broken in my stove, and cleaned everything up. He did a wonderful job.

Put temporary insulation (no charge) in area that had not been cemented in place when fireplace was installed. Reviewed fireplace operation since we had never had one before. Pointed out that there was evidence that there had been raccoons inside the chimney at some point and that we might consider putting a cap on the chimney (as many neighbors had done) to prevent this in the future. We decided to do this because our neighbors had just dealt with this problem. The actual cost of the chimney cleaning and inspection was $129. Because we added the chimney cap it was a bit more. Kelly could not have been more professional and prompt. He came within 2 days at a busy time of year. Gave us a report of his inspection with some suggestions for future repair of chimney. There was absolutely no pressure to do more work than had been requested.

I had used Soot and Cinders in 1996 to remove a raccoon mother and her babies.The process was done with skill and caring for the animals well being. I was glad to see they were still in business when I started looking for a good chimney sweep. Kelly is a very polite and interesting person to talk with and answered the many questions I had for him. He arrived on time and made sure that there was no mess or damage to our home. The floor was well covered and the very large vac.was inserted into the firebox and covered so that unwanted particles created during the process would not make it into the room. I would very highly suggest you use Kelly for chimney problems or duct cleaning. I will be calling him again in the spring.
