I called the company to have my locks re-keyed so that they would be on the same key as it would be less confusing on my key ring. When the first technician showed up to my house he didn't introduce himself, just asked to be shown what was needed. I showed him the three Schlage locks that I needed rekeyed. He told me that he couldn't do. He said that if they were two different brands that they wouldn't take the same key and that he would have to replace the locks. I told him that I just bought the locks, that they are the same brand and take the same kind of key. He then asked me for the key, which I didn't have due to a vehicle swap with my husband. He said that he couldn't do it without the key, which I know isn't true. So, I told him that I would find someone else who could. He said, "fine, just give me the service fee and I'll leave". I told him that his company needed to be more specific when they accepted a call, because I just paid him money to have him tell me that he couldn't do anything. He said that he could do it, but that it would take 15 minutes per lock, I said that I wasn't concerned with the time or paying him more money. He said that he wouldn't do it without the key. I then asked him to leave my house. He stood in my house and continued to mess with his phone. I then told him to leave my house. Again, he stood around my entryway and I had to yell at him to leave my house at which point he called me a jerk. When I called the customer service line they acted like I was trying to get something for nothing. I told them woman that I wasn't concerned with having to pay more for the service, I just expected someone to do the job they were hired for when they came to my house. It took 20 minutes of phone calls before I finally got them to send out a second technician. The second technician was very professional, he talked to me about the pricing and said that he could do it, it would take some time and he made sure that I was okay with that. I gave him the go ahead and he began work immediately. He was very speedy, he gave me four keys with the new imprint and was on his way. For the amount of time that was spent trying to get someone to do the job that I asked for, waiting for the second technician, definitely not worth the hassle.round with
