He gave me the pricing up front and had to charge a trip charge because he came from a different county. All the pricing was up front and he told me exactly what it would be and that's what I was charged. He came when he said he would and he had the skunk removed before I knew about he had completed it. He did a great job. I'm very happy with Ken'a service

Description of Work: We had a problem with raccoons in our chimney. I ignored it for a while but one evening when one of them was staring at us through our bedroom window I thought I needed to do something about it. Bill was very punctual, reliable, did a nice job and was a very nice guy. He is an Air Force retiree who does this as a retirement job. He charges $65 for a house call, $65 for placing a trap and $65 for each raccoon removed. Since I knew that we had babies in our chimney I was concerned about getting them out and about the potential cost. He set a chimney trap which trapped the female during the night when she went out. He came back the next morning to get the babies out. I didn't realize that the babies were the size of rabbits and were not happy to be removed. Since they were large, and the flue was fairly small this was a difficult task. He had a video camera that he put in the flu to find them. He then tried to grab them with a glove which he couldn't. He tried grabbing them with tong like tools which also didn't work. He ended up using a noose type device to grab them and move them to where he could grab them. It took him about 5 hours to remove the 4 babies. The $600 included removing the 5 animals and putting on two caps to my chimney. I can think of a lot of ways that I would rather spend that amount of money, but I think that he had to do a lot of work to get this done and that it was good value for what he did. I hope I never have to do this again, but if I do, I will call him again.

They charge $60 to come and $60 to set the traps and I think they charged $60 when they picked the animals up. It was expensive but I couldn't get animal control to come out because they were too busy. I could have trapped them myself but I didn't know what to do with them. It is against the law in Utah to trap a raccoon and let it go. This guy knew what he was doing and I didn't. He followed the law unlike a lot of them. He works out of his home. He is a retired man. He was recommended to me. It took longer than we had planned but he could look on my arbor posts and see little raccoon hairs so he knew raccoons were climbing my patio cover. He has done it for several years and he knows what he is looking for. He knew where to put the traps and where the animals where come back to. I didn't compare prices.
Description of Work: I used Critter Ridder to remove 6 skunks and 2 raccoons.
