Bronco Fence

If I could could leave negative stars I would. We split the cost of replacing a side fence with our neighbor. The company was average on price and turn times, but terrible at communication and customer service. In May, the installation crew tore down the old fence, removed it and poured the new posts in the same day. When they were here, I told them to leave one section of the old fence and to let me know when they were done so I could secure our yard. There was about a 4' gap along the other fence line that I wanted to make sure was secured as we had chickens (yes, had) and the neighbors behind us have large dogs. They left without a word. Thus, I was unable to secure the gap to prevent the neighbor's dogs from entering my yard and killing our entire flock, which my son found the aftermath (hopefully no PSTD occurs from this). In addition to this, one of the Rainbird heads I just replaced was gone, the sprinkler line cut clean. Another rainbird was broken, and leaking. I called the sales rep to explain the situation and left a voice mail. No call back. So I sent and email, no response. It took two days for him to respond. When he finally responded, he promised me that the installation crew would put up the new fence within a week, which took almost two weeks. Then he explained he could nothing about what happened with the chickens except direct me to the owner, who was out of town so he couldn't be reached. In the meantime, a different sales rep emailed me to tell me that they don't cover sprinklers and that that was in the contract. I told then explained I never received the contract as they dealt with my neighbor directly. That rep never responded to that email. It took over a week for the owner to call me. He said he was "out of town" so he didn't get any of the emails, texts, or voicemails I left him. He agreed to come and look at the fence after installation was complete and see what he could to do to remedy the situation. The fence was installed 3 inches off the ground, one of the caps was glued on crooked, and one of the posts didn't even have a cap. All this in addition to the killing of my chickens because of the negligence of the workers. When he came out, he was glib with his apology. He agreed that the fence was higher than it should have been, that the caps should have been better, and that he'll have these fixed and "come up with something" to remedy the chicken situation and sprinkler situation. No one ever came out to fix the issues with the fence. He never got back to me, and refused to respond to any of my additional attempts to communicate with him. Stay away from this company. They do not care about quality, and care even less about customers.

Went ok overall, see comments above. The overall project took longer than planned to get delivery of materials, correct material flaws and to correct some minor installation errors. Bronco reps were responsive to these issues as was the fence installer so in the end we were pleased with Bronco and would recommend them for similar projects.

The workmanship was really great and everything turned out exactly the way I had wanted it to.
