I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Russ was very communicative, did great work, and respectful. I had a new fireplace installed and wanted to get brick going up the entire wall to the ceiling. It looks so amazing.

Russ (and family) was great to work with and did high quality work. He came by to give us a quote on expansion of window openings, moving door openings, etc. He informed us that we had structural brick (only a wooden header which was only allowed for several years before the technique was banned). He let us know he would not do the work until we spoke with a structural engineer because of this. As new owners of this old house, we were very happy to have someone who was knowledgeable of the way our house was built and was able to guide us to ensure our home remained structurally sound. He helped us come up with a plan to do the work we needed to fit his and our scheduled remodeling steps. We're extremely happy and impressed with the work. You can't tell where brick was added. The colors match better than we ever expected. It was also great to work with a true family business! Sometimes the kids would come help and his dad showed up on occasion as well. I highly recommend Russ for his craftsmanship, knowledge and work quality! Following is a bit more detail on the work and results. We expanded nearly all windows and doors in our 1959 brick house. We also added two sliding doors to the back of the house. There was a regular swinging door that needed to be bricked over. Because of all of the added openings, we had lots of extra brick. Russ was able to clean and reuse our original brick window sills and tooth in every opening. You know when you drive around an older neighborhood and you can see the brickwork from the street? Not from Russ. You absolutely cannot tell where he toothed anything in. Our mortar color isn't available anymore. He is so experienced, he mixed it by eye and it matches perfectly. Russ was also instrumental in other things. He helped the window people measure correctly and gave us structural advice that the first engineer missed. Russ may not be the cheapest, but you do get what you pay for.

The chimney was repaired by changing the design so it won't happen again, the bricks and the cap were replaced. Amazingly start to finish in two days and cleaned up like he was never there. I would definitely recommend.

Russ was very nice to work with. He was informative, very good in communicating time frames and he did excellent work. Our chimney looks fantastic and now we won't have any surprise squirrel visitors with the cap in place. He even replaced a single brick at the back of our house that we asked about on the day he arrived to do the chimney work - for no extra charge. He's a great guy and did great work.

Working with Russ was a pleasure from the beginning to the end. He was very responsive and accommodating to our schedule. We needed bricks replaced on the front of our home. Russ replaced them and re-mortared the whole area to make it look brand new. He was professional from beginning to end. Just prior to him coming out we noticed a handful of bricks on the back of the house which needed replaced. He replaced them at no additional cost, we obtained a few bids for the work and Russ was the least expensive by far. I would highly recommend Russ for any masonry work.

The project went well. Mr. Anderson was able to execute the program and meet the specifications of the foundation. He was willing to delay for weather at my request. His crew worked late into the evening to complete the job. The cost negotiated was accurate and acceptable, even though the project took more concrete than estimated. Mr. Anderson worked directly with the city inspector and represented my interest on the project passing me communications that insured success of the project.

Anderson repaired the chimney on our 40 year old home. The chimney had never been capped and the dummy pot had just been left wide open. Anderson filled the dummy with cement, repaired the loose mortar and bricks and properly capped the chimney. He pointed out that the majority of the chimneys on the homes on my street weren't capped at all. He said it was probably just shoddy work by the original construction company or their contractors. I can believe it. We are selling the home he repaired and we'll be contacting Anderson to re-mortar and seal the foundation on our new, all brick, 90 year old home. It will be worth every penny, because the job will be done right. Punctual. Efficient. Clean. Reliable. Cost effective. Reasonable. You won't be sorry for hiring Anderson.

Russ with Anderson Masonry was great to work with. I called him to get a bid on some damage to my brick home. He came the same day I called (snowing and raining) to give me a bid. I confirmed the job and he arrived as scheduled. I thought the price was great, I was expecting it to cost much more. Within 4 hours all the work was done and cleaned up. He is very skilled and I appreciate that he was a patient person as I was hovering over him while he worked. The final product looked great, especially for a home built in 1955 and the challenge to match the grout color.

This is Russ with Anderson Masonry. You left a review on our companies page. There must be a mistake. We did not even bid this or do your project. You may want to double check the masonry company that you had do the work and get the review to their company. Thanks, Russ

Russ was great. Gave the best price out of three bids and worked with me to simplify the job to get it into my price range. He was booked a couple weeks out but I asked him to call me if something opened up earlier. He did call and got it done earlier. He was a pleasure to have around and his assistant even jumped in and helped me with some unrelated work I was doing on my own and was struggling with. Couldn't be happier.

Russ was great and I'd use him again anytime. When I first called to get a bid, he came that very day. He made several suggestions of what we could do for our chimneys that were less extensive than others had suggested, and helped us get in touch with someone to help set up a gas log. The work he did looks great and seems very solid; he was polite, professional, and very easy to work with overall.

They arrived on time and were finished within one working day. They no longer make my brick so they worked hard to match it and did remarkably well. I have no complaints but you pay a premium for this service which normally runs $600-$700. We paid $800.00 I should have waited until fall when they needed the business. However, it is quality work and they clean up after themselves which is worth the difference.
