Not well. They were to call our client when 30 minutes out, she asked for 45 minutes because she works 30 minutes away from the home. Karen refused to give a 45 to 60-minute call, stating they always only give a 30-minute call. They called when 15 minutes away, when the client said it takes her 30 to drive there, Karen told her to reschedule. Since she'd waited for days, she sad that wasn't acceptable. The tech agreed to wait (you now, since it wasn't' the client's fault they didn't call 30 minutes out). The tech arrived, he was nice, he repaired the disposal. The disposal was ceased, but now that it is not ceased it makes a terrible, loud, grinding noise that it didn't make before. The client asked for that be back to normal, the tech said that just getting it to grind was the job, this was the last call of the day, and he wouldn't fix that part. End result - the client is not a happy camper! This was a home warranty call. Client paid $60 copay, warranty company paid the balance, not sure of total cost. The office person, Karen is incredibly rude and difficult. Save yourself the frustration, do not work with this company!

Very poorly This plumbing service ASP / Allied Plumbing Service was provided through a home warranty. In fairness to the warranty, there's no way for a warranty company to know how a contractor will treat their mutual customers, and I have filed a complaint with the warranty company. We had a severely leaking water heater, it's only 3 years old. The plumber came out, turned the temperature to "vacation" mode, and made a note that we need a floor drain in a very old (100 years), unfinished basement of a home that doesn't require one by code. His "vacation" mode did not stop and of the leaking. I called the office because the tech would not call me back, or from the job-site as I had requested twice. The office woman could not have been more mean-spirited, rude and unaccommodating, to the point of telling me the warranty company does not allow contractors to speak with homeowners or their agents about the homeowner's issues, they may only communicate this to the warranty company. This is not true. This has never been true. I've been in business for 23 years, and I can't think of a time I have been treated worse than by this company and their office person. I called a handyman, he came out, looked at the issue and within 1 minute knew the release discharge valve was the problem and was leaking. He replaced the valve, turned us up to an actual, usable hot water temp, and we've not had a drop of water leak since. Do not use this company, if your warranty company refers them to you, consider reading them this review and requesting another provider.

I wish that Allstate had been able to send a plumber sooner than 2 days after my call, but when he came, he was very friendly and professional. Shawn fixed the leak, clearly explained what he had done, and referred me to a water damage company to clean up the mess. It turned out that the company that he referred was pretty unprofessional. I think that Shawn should be more careful about making referrals. However, I don't have any problems with his work as a plumber.
Description of Work: Shawn fixed a sewer line leak in the attic by tightening two clamps. He consulted with me about the water damage that the leak had caused and gave me a referral to a water damage mitigation company.
