+ 16 moreRiver Construction served as the general contractor for our new home. Their contract administration and quality assurance was too often, minimal to absent. We experienced serious problems during construction of our new home in nearly every major construction phase and type of construction activity. Problems included cracked and marred concrete, poor masonry installation, damaged flooring, poor and unlevel framing, poor stucco finishing, poor and blemished paint, wiring and plumbing problems, scratched windows and lack of adherence to constructon plans as examples. Getting them to correct problems for which they were responsible was difficult at best to unsuccessful. We are still paying for construction issues for which they are responsible and they refuse to correct. In summary, we could never recommend this company to anyone in any category of work for which they were hired. They did not perform satisfactorily.
Description of Work: River Construction of Kanab, Utah served as the general contractor for our new home including subcontracting of all construction phases including pad, foundation and concrete work, framing, insulation, wiring, plumbing, masonry, roofing ,flooring, windows, stucco, paint, etc. They were responsible for the construction planning, subcontractor oversight and accountability, quality control etc.
